Old Quarter - Guests will be picked up from hotels in the Hanoi Old Quarter Area. The guide will arrive at the hotel, confirm the guest’s name with the receptionist for the tour, and then proceed to Ninh Binh Province. The drive takes approximately 2 hours, including a short break along the way.

Hoa Lu Temple - Upon arrival at Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam, guests will visit the Dinh King temple and Le King temple from the 10th century, learning about the heroic histories of these two kings during the Chinese Wars. Hoa Lu is recognized as Vietnam’s first capital, featuring numerous historical landmarks. In 968, King Dinh Bo Linh of Dai Co Viet (an ancient name for Vietnam) established his capital in Hoa Lu and ruled until 980.

Tam Coc - Enjoy a buffet lunch at a restaurant offering a variety of local dishes, with vegetarian options available. After lunch, guests will visit Tam Coc by bamboo boat, where they will be captivated by the enchanting beauty of the paddy fields, river, water, clouds, sky, and a magnificent cave system during the boat trip. This area is often referred to as “Ha Long Bay on land” by the Vietnamese. The tour continues with a cycling excursion around the village to explore the local lifestyle. The Tam Coc boat tour provides a remarkable journey through scenic landscapes, gliding along the Ngo Dong River and exploring mesmerizing caves. This boating experience is essential for those seeking the tranquil natural beauty of Ninh Binh, Vietnam. At the end of the day, guests will be transferred to a Bungalow for check-in, where they can relax and enjoy dinner. Free time is available to explore the local area, with an overnight stay at the bungalow in Ninh Binh.

Mua Caves - The tour proceeds to Mua Cave, a site that captivates visitors with its fascinating stories. Climb 500 stone steps to enjoy a breathtaking panoramic view of the countryside and Ngo Dong River, extending all the way to Tam Coc. Among these heritage sites, Mua Caves (Hang Múa in Vietnamese) or Dancing Cave is renowned for its graceful natural beauty, earning it the titles “The Great Wall of Vietnam” or “Tam Coc’s Muse.” It is considered the most stunning viewpoint in Ninh Binh, Vietnam.

Ninh Binh – Halong & Lan Ha Bay Day Cruise – Hanoi (B/L)

Halong Bay - After breakfast, guests will check out of the Homestay/Bungalow. Between 6:45 AM and 7:15 AM, they will board a group limousine heading to Halong Bay, a 4.5-hour drive. Arrival at Halong harbor is just before midday. Guests are welcomed on the cruise and will enjoy lunch as the boat begins its journey, exploring Halong Bay - one of the New Seven Wonders of Nature. The cruise navigates through remote Halong Bay - Lan Ha Bay, uncovering many hidden splendors of untouched natural wonders. This UNESCO World Heritage site is located in northeastern Vietnam’s Gulf of Tonkin, in Quang Ninh Province. The lush emerald and turquoise waters are home to over 1,600 mostly uninhabited and thus undisturbed islands and islets, as noted by UNESCO.

Lan Ha Bay - 14:00: Engage in kayaking or enjoy a bamboo boat ride around the Bright - Dark Cave.
15:15: Visit Frog Pond for swimming in Lan Ha Bay.
16:00: Participate in a cooking demonstration.
16:30: Attend the Sunset Ceremony with tea and cakes.
17:45 – 18:00: Disembark at Tuan Chau Harbor in Halong Bay. Guests will bid farewell to the crew and the bay, then transfer back to Hanoi Old Quarter between 8:30 PM and 9:00 PM. This concludes the 2-day, 1-night package.
