Thung Khe Pass - There will be a stop at Thung Khe Pass to enjoy the breathtaking view of Mai Chau Valley. The Thung Khe Pass flagpole, also known as the Mai Chau Flagpole, is the highlight of this mountain pass. During the stop, you can explore local stalls offering typical products. Don’t miss the chance to try “Com Lam,” sticky rice cooked in bamboo, a local specialty.
Pu Luong Nature Reserve - Check into the hotel in Pu Luong and enjoy lunch. You will have free time to relax or enjoy the infinity pool.
Meet the tour guide and embark on an easy trek off the main road. Visit a traditional Thai minority house to learn about their customs. The trek continues down paths through rice terraces and Bang village. The stunning mountain views and slopes covered with rice terraces are truly enchanting.
Return to the Retreat. Enjoy free time with a cup of tea or a cocktail on the terrace, or take a swim in the infinity pool.
Dinner will be served in the Eco restaurant, followed by traditional dances from the Thai ethnic minority community. Feel free to join in the Bamboo clap dance. Enjoy a peaceful and quiet night in the Reserve.
Pu Luong – Hieu Waterfall - Trekking (B, L, D)
Hieu Waterfall - Start your day with breakfast at the Eco Restaurant, overlooking the mountains. Board the van to reach the trek’s starting point. On Thursdays and Sundays, there will be a stop at the local Pho Doan market.
You will be dropped off at the trek’s starting point, which follows a small dirt path through an isolated hamlet and the jungle. Arrive at the higher part of Hieu village to take in some stunning views.
As you descend towards the waterfall, you will pass by local houses. Enjoy free time at the waterfall, with opportunities for swimming and water hiking, depending on the season.
Suối Chàm - Board the car to reach the starting point of the afternoon trek. Cross a hanging bridge over the Cham River and pass through Ba village, where you can see old traditional houses.
Admire the ingenious agricultural system of the Thai ethnic minority, the bamboo waterwheels. These waterwheels in Pu Luong are among the most impressive in Vietnam.
The day concludes with a relaxing bamboo boat ride. Adapted for tourism, the boat is still used by locals to navigate, visit other houses, or travel to the fields.
Pu Luong - Hanoi (B, L)
Kho Mường - Enjoy breakfast at the Eco-restaurant. Trek to Kho Muong Village & Bat Cave. The trek begins along a small alley near traditional Thai stilt houses, leading to beautiful viewpoints of the infinity rice terraces.
As you arrive from the top of the hill, the village of Kho Muong will gradually appear, revealing its unique charm.
After exploring the village, walk to the cave entrance. Visiting the cave is possible, depending on weather conditions.
