Hanoi – Sapa (L, D)
Hanoi - Guests will be picked up from their hotel in Hanoi around 7 am to begin the journey to Sapa, which takes approximately 10 hours. Sapa - Located 350 km north of Hanoi near the Chinese border, Sapa is renowned for its stunning views of a valley with rice fields visible on clear days, surrounded by towering mountains. The breathtaking landscape is often shrouded in dense fog, but even on cloudy days, the vibrant local hill tribes bring color to the town.
Sapa Trekking (B, L, D)
Sapa - After breakfast, there will be time to explore the daily market before embarking on a 3-4 hour trek along small trails through the charming villages of Lao Chai and Ta Van. Travelers will encounter locals from the H’mong and Dzay tribes along the way, with a picnic lunch break in Ta Van Village. After trekking, return to the hotel in Sapa.

Sapa – Lao Cai – Bac Ha (B, L, D)
Bac Ha - After breakfast at the hotel, guests will be driven to Bac Ha via Lao Cai. The day’s activities depend on whether it is a Sunday. On Sundays, the morning and afternoon will be spent at the Bac Ha Market, where diverse ethnic groups trade and socialize. On other days, a visit to the H’mong Palace will provide insights into the region’s turbulent history. Dinner and an overnight hotel stay in Bac Ha follow.
Bac Ha Market - Held every Sunday from morning until 2:00 pm near the mountainous highlands and the Chinese border, Bac Ha Market has been a fixture since the founding of Lao Cai Province. It is the largest and most colorful market in the area, where villagers from surrounding hill tribes gather to buy and exchange food, animals, clothes, and household goods.
Bac Ha – Hoang Su Phi – Ha Giang (B, L, D)
Ha Giang - After breakfast, depart Bac Ha for Ha Giang via Sin Man and Hoang Su Phi. The journey offers ample opportunities to admire the scenery and observe local daily life, with stops for photos and lunch. Arrival in Ha Giang is expected in the late afternoon, followed by hotel check-in. The rest of the day is free to explore the border town before dinner and an overnight hotel stay.
Hoang Su Phi - Located in Ha Giang near the Chinese border, Hoang Su Phi is a mountainous area with minimal tourism. It boasts breathtaking rice terraces, ethnic groups, mountains, and nature. Hoang Su Phi is similar to Mu Cang Chai but with even fewer tourists, preserving the authenticity of this beautiful and unspoiled area.
Ha Giang – Sa Phin – Dong Van (B, L, D)
Ha Giang - Dong Van is renowned for its rugged mountain scenery and charming minority villages. The exploration begins with a visit to the ancient royal H’mong house in Sa Phin, followed by a drive back to Ha Giang, offering plenty of opportunities to appreciate the colorful costumes of the local people and the stunning landscape. Return to the hotel in Ha Giang for dinner and an overnight stay.
Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark - Located in the northeastern province of Ha Giang, Dong Van Karst Plateau UNESCO Global Geopark is a mountainous area with a predominantly limestone surface (about 60%). Its landscape is spectacular and unique, featuring high mountains and deep canyons. The highest peak is Mieu Vac Mount (1971m), while Tu San is the deepest canyon (700-800 m deep).
Dong Van – Ma Pi Leng Pass – Meo Vac – Bao Lac (B, L, D)
Ma Pi Leng Pass - A visit to Ma Pi Leng Pass allows travelers to immerse themselves in the region’s natural beauty while experiencing the rich cultural heritage of local ethnic communities. The journey along the pass is an adventure, offering numerous opportunities for hiking and motorbiking.
Bao Lac – Ba Be National Park (B, L, D)
Bố Lù - The day begins with a journey along a secret route, a small road winding through beautiful valleys to Cho Ra, a Tay Village, and onward to Ba Be National Park. After lunch, visit Hua Ma Cave and the traditional Tay village of Coc Toc, where Mr. Linh and his family will welcome guests for a homestay. The rest of the day is free for leisure, with a swim in the lake recommended if the weather is warm. The day concludes with a home-cooked meal and an overnight stay with the host family.
Ba Be Lake - The trip starts at the Ba Be Tourism Centre with a boat ride around Ba Be Lake and along the Nang River to the natural wonder of Puong Cave. The river has eroded the karst, creating an astonishing tunnel with fascinating rock formations. After exploring the cave, continue to Cam Ha Village to observe the peaceful life of the Tay people among the green rice fields. On the return journey, visit An Ma Temple and the remote area of Widow Island on Ba Be Lake before cruising back to the Ba Be Tourism Centre office.
Ba Be National Park – Hanoi (B, L)
Ba Be National Park - After breakfast, head to Bo Lu Quay on foot and board a boat for a tour of the lake and river. The time on the boat can be spent sightseeing, sunbathing, swimming, or wildlife watching. The journey continues down the Nang River to Puong Cave, known for its stalactites and stalagmites. After the cave visit, the driver will take guests back to Hanoi, arriving around 17:30.
Hanoi - The tour concludes in Hanoi.
