Duong Lam Ancient Village - Morning: Duong Lam Ancient Village & Surroundings (L)
The day starts with a meeting with the local guide and driver in the hotel lobby. The journey will take you 60 km west of Hanoi to explore Duong Lam Ancient Village, the first village in Vietnam to be designated as a national cultural relic by the Ministry of Culture and Information.
Upon arrival, a warm welcome awaits with a refreshing green tea served in one of the village’s historic homes. There will be an opportunity to admire the traditional architecture of the ancient houses, appreciating their charm and history. The next destination is Mong Phu Temple, the only hamlet in the village that has remained completely intact.
From Mong Phu, the tour continues with a bicycle ride to Mia Pagoda, a remarkable structure from the 15th century, renowned for its collection of 287 statues of various sizes. After exploring the pagoda, a traditional Vietnamese lunch will be served at a local house in the village. - Thay Pagoda - Following lunch, the journey proceeds to Thay Pagoda, celebrated for its tranquil atmosphere and ancient architectural designs. There will be time to wander around and enjoy the peaceful surroundings of the pagoda.
