Ninh Binh - 07:30 – 08:00: A tour guide and Limousine Bus will pick guests up from their hotel in Hanoi’s old quarter, then depart for a full-day trip to Ninh Binh. There will be a short break halfway to stretch and take photos of the countryside before heading to the ancient capital of Hoa Lu.
10:30: Upon arrival, enjoy a walking tour of Hoa Lu, the ancient capital of Vietnam from 968 to 1010. This is an opportunity to learn about Vietnamese history during the feudal system under the Dinh, Le, and Ly Dynasties. Gain insights into Vietnamese society, language, architecture, and people of the 10th century.
11:45: Enjoy a buffet lunch at a restaurant featuring a variety of local dishes such as goat meat and fried rice. Vegetarian options are always available.
13:00: Take a short walk to Tam Coc Wharf and explore Tam Coc on a 1.5-hour bamboo rowing boat trip. Be captivated by the enchanting beauty of the paddy fields, river, water, clouds, sky, and stunning cave system, often referred to as “Ha Long Bay on land.” The Ngo Dong River winds through the mountains, offering a sense of peace and beauty. The boat will pass through three caves (Hang Ca, Hang Hai, Hang Ba), providing a chance to meet local farmers working in the rice fields and gain a deeper understanding of rural life in Vietnam.
Continue with a cycling tour around the local village to experience the daily life of local farmers. Ride through rice fields to enjoy the serene and natural scenery.
Upon arrival at Mua Cave, which is modeled after a “miniature Great Wall” in China with nearly 500 steps to the mountain peak, spend about an hour trekking to the top for a panoramic view of the Tam Coc valley, rice fields, and Ninh Binh city.
