A biking tour around the Tam Coc area offers a glimpse of the countryside village (approximately 30 minutes).

More relaxed tour vs Ha Long Bay - We took a Ha Long group tour from a competitor the day before this Ninh Binh tour, and it was like night and day.
First of all, the Ninh Binh tour was private and flexible. The Ha Long tour had too many activities crammed into one day. We saw sights at a relaxed pace. Our tour guide Jason was super informative, and our driver “Win-Win” was an expert navigator.
The Tam Cóc (three caves) part of the tour was chill, and we were able to buy goods from our rower at much less vs the tourist trap places.
Lastly, we were picked up and dropped off at our hotel. The Ha Long tour made us meet at a hotel in the Old Quarter, but picked up and dropped off all the other passengers at their hotels. The foregoing added almost one hour to the front and back end of our tour.
I highly recommend this tour, and Jason as your tour guide. You will not be disappointed.

Fun and Worry Free Adventure! - Our tour guide was Jason. He was both knowledgeable and entertaining. He gave us a brief Vietnam history lesson when touring the old palace. Jason was also flexible with our group of 5 regarding our interests and abilities. He also had the skills to avoid all the crowds. Jason was also knowledgeable of the Vietnamese economy, an interest of mine.
Winwin was our skillful driver, navigating the tight streets of the old quarter as well as the crowded tour bus and van drop off areas..

Ninh Binh family escapade!! - Thomas was very knowledgeable and very passionate to assist us in getting this tour and easy to deal with! The cost is affordable and reasonable! We will do it again with Thomas if given a chance when we come back in Hanoi! I highly recommend to book with him if you have some plans in Hanoi!

Excellent tour with Louis and Lien as our guide and driver!! Highly recommend!!! - What an AMAZING tour with a wonderful guide and driver!! We highly recommend! Louis was so knowledgeable, funny, helpful and kind. He shared so much history and culture with us and we were extremely happy we got him as our guide. Lien was an expert, safe driver and his car was so clean. We would take another tour and adventure with them anytime! Highly recommend you do this tour to Ninh Binh with this fantastic duo! Amazing Ninh Binh Day Tour - Such an amazing day trip! The solo group tour was absolutely everything. Our tour guide, Jason, and our driver, Win Win, were incredible—so kind, knowledgeable, and made sure we saw all the highlights of Ninh Binh. Lunch was delicious, and they were wonderful about accommodating our vegetarian diet. If you have the chance to visit Ninh Binh, this tour is a must. Thank you so much, Jason and Win Win!

Wonderful experience on this private tour!!! - Our guides were Jason and Win-win. We had a wonderful day on this private tour. The boat on Trang was amazing. You get to appreciate the immensity of the landscape. The hike up to the dragon was worth it for the beautiful views but suggest also to hike up the other side to see the full view of the dragon. Our guides also suggested we leave early to beat the crowds which we did leaving at 6:45 AM from our hotel. It turned out to be a great recommendation.
