Great trip to Ninh Binh - Great tour with our guide Son. We stayed in Sunshine homestay in Ninh Binh, had a pool and the food was really good. The bus collected us early from hotel and first activity was hike to hiang mua, followed by cycling through the rice fields before lunch. The lunch was ok nothing special. Lunch the second day was better. On the second day we had the option to take the motorbike to Bai Dinh. It was a new experience for us but it was fun and the guide was very helpful.

Awesome experience - Luminose car drive is good. Trang An boat ride is awesome and we got a good tour guide named Son and Tam Coc bicycle ride is very good. We highly recommend for the ninh bing and tam coc tour with them

Must do trip to Tam Coc - I recommend doing this trip, it was well put together and you get the best of what the area has to offer. The driver and guide were very professional and spoke good english..

Ninh Binh Day Tour - Vu led our small group on a great tour of Ninh Binh which included ancient temples, bike riding, cooking class/lunch and boat ride. He was very friendly and informative over the whole day. Highly recommend!

Amazing Ninh Binh - Bought group tour , fortunately we experienced private tour instead. Vu, the tour guide is very friendly and helpful. He shared many stories during the tour. It was a great experience, highly recommended.

Perfect tour with awesome tour guide - This tour is perfect for everyone who wants to learn more about the Vietnamese culture and history. Our guide, Sun, was very friendly and knowledgeable. He had so many information about the Ninh Binh province and the Vietnamese culture and history and is always eager to answer all of your questions. The tour included many different activities like a bicycle and boat trip as well as visits to the most interesting and impressive temples and view points. Plus you learn how to prepare Spring rolls! Everything is very professional and you do not have to worry about anything during the tour. The service you get has a very high quality, we felt really comfortable during the whole trip. The difference to standard mass tour operators is quite big. Therefore, I would recommend everybody to do this tour when in North Vietnam. Thanks to Sun and the whole Authentic Ninh Binh Team!

Nice trip to Ninh Binh - We just spent 2 great days in Ninh Binh filled with various activities like a boat trip, cycling or making our own vietnamese spring roll. We really enjoyed the atmosphere and landscape of Ninh Binh and appreciated our guide Vu, who had excellent English skills and broad knowledge of all our tour stopps. If you have some time in that area of Vietnam, I would recommend to participate in a tour like this one :)

2 Days Tour Very Different Experience - Our 2-days tour was operated by 2 tour companies. Our 1st day itinerary was done in a group of total 6 people guided by Alex. It was a heavy and tired day since we climbed the Mua Caves before noon when we arrived from Hanoi. We were "not allowed" to rest and have lunch until we did the cycling, again under the strong sun after climbing the 500 steps of Mua Caves. I turned down our guide's suggestion to do the cooking class (simple spring roll rolling) before lunch, because the other 4 persons, who were actually doing a 1-day trip with us and did not have a cooking class, to watch and wait for us to finish our spring roll before everyone can rest inside the air-conditioned restaurant for lunch. We did the Tam Coc boating in the afternoon and finally check in our hotel. The 5th star that I took away in this review was because of our Day 1 guide. There are simply many ways that he can be better. We met 2 local guides, Snow and another gentlemen, on day 2 morning. Day 2 became our private motorbike tour because we are their only clients. Snow is particularly incredible, very knowledgeable about the place where she lived and drove us through some really narrow roads among the paddy fields and villages. Meeting some local men who were doing cock fighting, and passing by a local wedding banquet are real bonus. We completed our itinerary as planned and she waited for almost an hour with us while we waited for our accidental delayed pick up. She really made our day and our Ninh Binh experience superb! So my conclusion: 1. Ninh Binh worth better than Halong Bay with nice scenery and activities. Worth to visit Moa Caves and do the Tam Coc boating. 2. Strongly suggest to do 2 day 1 night tour if possible. Day 1 is weary though, Day 2 historical destinations are nice. 3. Our 1-on-1 motorbike tour (we 2 taken care by 2 guides) is the highlight of the tour, very convenient to go around the destinations and move through the country roads. I love this part most. Our guides drove quite slowly as we requested so not dangerous. 4. The tour guide can make or break your day. 5. I will recommend this tour and this operator.
