Great experience which an incredible instructor who speaks great English - Just did a crash course for 3.5 hours with my lovely instructor Mia. She spoke great English and is incredibly patient and encouraging. I had a fall and she was very reassuring and took great care of me to make me feel comfortable. Perfect course for ladies who prefer 1 to 1 coaching at your own

As training or an excursion, Chicks got you covered - Couldn’t be better. Excellent and patient instructor, great food and a surprisingly cultural tour of Hanoi as the day went on. I’ve ridden a moped once before in my life and by the end we were threading through central Hanoi and further afield feeling safe and confident. Excellent training ground to start and clear advice. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting Hanoi as an experience or to find your feet on a moped (it’s less chaotic than it looks from the pavement). Thanks so much 😄😄

Highly recommend this service! - I had the BEST experience ever with Chicks n Bikes! From the very start, they were so welcoming, friendly, and professional — such an awesome company to deal with.
My instructor, Thao, was absolutely amazing. He was incredibly patient, super knowledgeable, and explained everything so clearly and thoroughly that I felt confident straight away. I couldn’t believe I was already out on the road during my first lesson, practicing turns and actually riding — such a huge confidence boost!
The whole experience was fun, supportive, and empowering. I honestly cannot recommend Chicks and Bikes enough — if you’re thinking about learning to ride, this is 100% the place to do it! 🏍️✨

Amazing experience - I had a great time brushing up on my skills. The instructor was full of energy and was very informative and took me through each step in a clear way - and now I feel a lot more confident. You start in a car park and if you feel confident enough you can progress to driving around more quiet streets in Hanoi but there is no pressure to, you can take it at your own pace.

Fun taster of riding around Hanoi! - Really great way to spend a morning! Had a fun time riding around the lake after getting an intro & practise run! Excellent for a first timer… and great way to get a flavour of the Tay Ho area!

Clear communication, adaptive teaching, fantastic service. - The whole team are superb! From booking and being flexible due to my work commitments. Clear communication and reminders about lessons booked. Lessons are designed well with clear instructions and adaptable to meet your needs. Starting out in the car park to build confidence was needed and made me feel safe until I was ready for the roads of Hanoi. I have just rented a bike on a monthly basis and have been impressed with the service to date. Thank you to the whole team.

Didn’t Think I’d Ride Again… But Here I Am - I recently moved to Tay Ho for a long stay, and honestly, the idea of getting back on a bike made me tense. I’d had a couple of pretty rough experiences in Thailand, so finding out that riding is basically a daily necessity here didn’t exactly calm my nerves. Chicks n Bikes changed that for me. They didn’t brush off my worries, but actually more than ready to acknowledge them, which helped more than I expected.
Thao was my instructor, and his calm energy made a big difference. We took our time with the basics before heading onto the road. Once we were out there, it turned out to be way less overwhelming than I had imagined. He kept things steady, explained everything clearly, and checked in the whole time.
If you’re uneasy about riding or just need a confidence boost, I’d really suggest booking a lesson. Even if you’re only in Hanoi for a short visit, it’s a surprisingly fun way to get comfortable with the city.

I Felt So Safe and Supported - I’m really happy I went with this company. Everything was straightforward, relaxed, and they made sure I had what I needed. I was especially lucky to get Mia as my instructor, she’s super patient, calm, and actually shows you what to do instead of just telling you. She answered every question, gave small but super helpful corrections, and always checked in to make sure I felt safe and comfortable.
If you’re nervous or new to riding, honestly, just sign up. You’ll be in good hands. Thank you Chicks n Bikes — and thank you, Mia!

Thao - With no experience even driving a bicycle, Thao was able to show me how to ride one, I was able to rent my own bike within a couple of weeks. Could not recommend enough. Even without any experience they will have you ready in no time.

Patient, Supportive, and Truly Empowering Lessons! - This review for Chicks n Bikes is long overdue! I was a complete beginner and honestly quite nervous at first, but the instructors were incredible!!! They're extremely supportive, patient, and full of helpful feedback that made me improve so much with every lesson. We started in an empty lot, which helped me feel comfortable getting used to the bike. By my last session, I was confidently riding behind my instructor through Hanoi’s rush-hour traffic! I’d 100% come back to Chicks n Bikes to keep building my skills and highly recommend them to anyone wanting to learn to ride with confidence.
