Tire sandals were symbolic for President Ho Chi Minh during the war. Visitors have the opportunity to craft their own tire sandals and discover the fascinating story and significance behind them at Tire Sandal King (Optional).
Note: Guides are complimentary, but experience fees are NOT included. - Hoa Lo Prison - The tour will then proceed to Hoa Lo Prison, ironically dubbed the ‘Hanoi Hilton’ by US prisoners of war (POWs) during the American War. Most exhibits focus on the prison’s use up to the mid-1950s, highlighting the Vietnamese struggle for independence from France.
- Huu Tiep Lake and the Downed B-52 - The next stop is The B-52 Victory Museum Hanoi, which showcases weapons, images, documents, wreckage, and various items that celebrate the ingenuity and creativity of Hanoi’s troops and residents.

Super interesting tour about Hanoi’s war history - We had a great time seeing and touring Hanoi with Silky and Hoa. We walked together through the city and they provided interesting facts and local perspectives to every event and site we visited. We also enjoyed a great lunch afterwards where we ate local cuisine and got some tips and tricks for enjoying the city even more.

Diamond is a Diamond! - Had an amazing experience on the walking tour. My guides name was Diamond and she didnt disappoint! It was such a great experience, she was so knowledgeable and took me to all the places I wanted to see and others that I didnt know anything about.. I know I definitely wouldn't have experienced Hanoi as I have without her guidance, not only that but she was kind and thoughtful and she made me feel like I was with a friend. It really was great... General history tour - Silky was a very nice and competent guide. Quite knowledge for someone so young, very pleasant personality and very friendly. Fitted the tour to our interests, which is what wanted. Recommend highly.

Impressive and educational - It was super nice experience I visited the hoa lo prison this was an impressive experience. With guide Silky I also visited 2 other places. Silky was very attentive after my T-shirt was ruined, after clumsily eating a greasy sausage, she showed me a location where I could buy a new one. It was a really nice tour.

Exceptionally good - Silky was an exceptionally good guide and was very obliging with any requests we had. She was very patient with us as my husband has bad knees and she was very happy to take a rest at intervals, as we requested. We had a fantastic, informative afternoon and learnt a lot. It was a very fascinating insight. Highly recommended. Thanks so much Silky.

Thoughtful and Informative - Chi and Duy were very welcoming, thoughtful and attentive guides who provided essential added information to the displays and captions of the National Museum. We were able to learn a lot about Vietnam’s ancient and more recent history, specifically about the struggle to gain and maintain independence from French and US control. A very worthwhile and enjoyable afternoon. Many thanks, Chi and Duy.

Fascinating Tour of Hanoi's War Sites - Great tour. I liked the visit to Hoa Lo Prison the most. Our guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the prison and the museum. He spoke fluent English and led a great tour. I highly recommend this tour.
