Lung Cu Flag Tower - Initially built during the Ly dynasty as a simple sa moc tree, the Lung Cu flagpole was rebuilt by France in 1887. It underwent several restorations in 1992, 2000, and notably in 2002, when it was erected with a height of about 20m. The base and pedestal are hexagonal, featuring 6 reliefs depicting Dong Son bronze drums. At the top, a 9m high flagpole flies the Vietnamese national flag, measuring 9m long, 6m wide, with a total area of 54 square meters. Lung Cu flagpole is a major tourist attraction in Ha Giang, symbolizing national pride and marking Vietnam’s sacred territory.

Conquering Ma Pi Leng is challenging, making it even more enticing to overcome the zigzag roads surrounded by steep, rocky mountains and deep abysses.
