Best local food tour! - Ella is an excellent tour guide, we had some of the best food we've had in Vietnam on the tour. We appreciated going to small, hole in the wall places to support local restaurants. Ella is high energy and shared information about the culture, the language and history of Vietnam. It was really enjoyable! If you only have a short time in Hanoi and want the food highlights, I highly recommend it!

Eat through Hanoi with Ella - I really enjoyed Ella's Food tour. It was an excellent introduction to Vietnamese food and a well rounded effort to introduce as much as possible. She adds humor, language lessons, a little bit of history, differences between north and south and more. The one issue for me is the number of people on the tour -- there were about 20 of us and some people enjoyed talking making it difficult to always hear Ella. She made excellent effort at making sure those who don't eat meat experience a great tour. Kudos to Ella!

Delicious and informative tour - Ella was a fantastic tour guide. It was great learning so much about Vietnamese food and the historic and cultural impact on cuisine. Ella‘s personal story as well was very interesting. All of the food was amazing and she also took care to provide me with gluten-free options. The only dish that wasn’t gluten-free was the Bahn mi and I got a special portion in a cup instead of a bread roll.

Hanoi - No noise but "silent" in a very personal way. - Before now I always thought Hanoi would always be noisy and difficult to get close. But when we leave, we know differently. Hanoi does not make yourself wow at first sight because it is not so modern and magnificent. In the morning I visited Lake Sword, the air was cold and there was a little fog, the adults went to exercise and the young people went for a walk, when I realized "Hai Nội is not in a hurry." Then getting lost through the small streets in the old streets makes a very real feeling. The cuisine is delicious, especially the feeling of sitting on the sidewalk - I don't ask but I remember forever.
