Awesome memorable cruise! - We had a fabulous time on a 2 night Lan Ha Bay cruise on the Dragon Legend 2 ship with Tom, the cruise director and Nancy. Highly recommend the 2 night cruise as it was so relaxing and a welcoming change of pace from Hanoi. We specifically chose this cruise as Lan Ha Bay is not crowded with ships compared to Ha Long bay. They picked us up from our Hanoi hotel in a luxury van with 4 other passengers. After checking in at their office in Ha Long City, they took us to the ship. The first day we had a stop at a fishing village and a local paddled us around the area. The next day we visited a cave and went kayaking. After we had a delicious bbq lunch on a nearby sandy beach for just our boat. We loved the extra effort of comfort for the luncheon, tables setup with umbrellas, and the beach towels provided. The water was refreshing and with just our boat at that beach it was peaceful and allowed us time to socialize with the other passengers. We enjoyed the activities and appreciated the well planned itinerary. The views of the bay are mesmerizing. At night we asked them to turn off the upper deck lights and we laid on the chaise loungers gazing at the night sky. The crew were all so accommodating and their efforts felt graciously genuine. We’ve been on many cruises but this one is very memorable. We highly recommend Dragon Legend Cruise (Indochina Junk Co.). After the cruise they transported us to Hai Phong airport for our flight to HCMC.

So glad we went with Dragon Legend- Indo china junk - we are a family of 3 (with a 16 year old ) and we took the 2 day Bai Tu Long Bay cruise with indo china junk in june 2025 . It was an amazing experience. i had read up on ha long bay .. bai tu long bay .. the confusion was real ! but in the end we decided that bai tu long bay it was .. because it’s less crowded.( i am talking soaking in the tub with only the water, rocks and sky to keep you company) . now for our appreciation : 1 . The staff - the extremely hard working and always smiling staff of the Dragon Legend . Big thank you for always having the time to small talk with us . and taking care of all our meals . 2. KennyG - our fantastic tour guide . his passion to keep the bay clean is commendable. From the beginning of the trip to the end , he has been an excellent guide . 3 . the chefs - The food we weee served on the cruise … ooooooo.. no words can describe the the effort the chefs out in to make sure we had met all our dietary needs . Special thank you to chef Phu’o’ng(sorry if i completely messed the name) . we had so much food . we were completely spoiled for choices . and not a single dish was repeated ! Thank you to the kitchen staff for taking such good care of us ! 4. Ms . Thuy - thank you for patiently answering all our questions .. and following up with us continuously.

Beautiful Boat Cruise in Bai Tu Long Bay - We did the two day/1 night boat trip and really enjoyed it. We appreciated going to Bai Tu Long Bay which was less busy than Ha Long Bay but just as beautiful. The food was really good and they were accommodating of an allergy that we notified them of ahead of time. The staff was all very helpful and they offered a nice variety of activities (if you wanted to participate) including a cave tour, kayaking, cooking demonstration, squid fishing, tai chi and tour of a floating fishing village. The rooms were nicely decorated. Kenny G was our tour guide and he was always available for questions or to take photos for you. We really enjoyed our time on the boat although it went by too fast!

Amazing trip on Bai Tu Long Bay! - We took the 2-day Bai Tu Long Bay cruise with Dragon Legend, and had an awesome time! The cabins were beautiful and luxurious, the food was outstanding and the activities were great, especially the tour of a fishing village by rowboat, cave exploration, the 6:30 am (!!) tai chi and especially the kayaking. The star of the cruise, however, was just the ability to sit on the gorgeous deck and watch the amazing scenery as we sailed past. Service was outstanding, fast and friendly, especially Smiley, our tour guide for many of the activities. The only thing I would change would be to have the second day be a little less rushed, as we needed to have all activities completed (tai chi, cave exploration and kayaking), breakfast eaten, packed and off the ship by 9:15 am - which wasn't the original itinerary we had booked. But, other than those scheduling issues, this was a fantastic cruise and we would highly recommend it!

Cruise in the beautiful Halong bay with its incomparabel nature - Very nice cruise in HaLong bay. Probably the best is to taken the tour from 3days/2 nights. You will enjoy the beautiful nature, the quiet and peaceful surrounding, the magnificant food and drink and the spacy cabine and bed.

The Dragon Legend doesn't disappoint! - The cruise was better than I expected. The only thing that would have improved our two night, 3 day cruise was to have one sunny day, but the weather is the one thing that is unpredictable. Actually I was happy for the mostly cloudy weather which kept the temperature nice and cool. One of the reasons that the cruise was so good was because of Anna, the Travel Consultant. Anna was very helpful from the start. She was instrumental in getting my Vietnam Visa in record time! She was also helpful when it came to choosing between the Dragon Legend or the Dragon Pearl. Anna was very communicative throughout the entire time from start to finish and I thank her for that. The cruise itself was most enjoyable, from the beautiful and comfortable cabin, to the friendly and helpful crew, to the beauty of the ship. To summarize, everything was excellent, except for one aspect: I thought the food was just average for a cruise. The same seafood was offered at just about every meal. It became redundant and I grew tired of it very quickly. There's room for improvement in the galley.

good cruise - Overall we really enjoyed the cruise. The boat is beautiful but is a bit tired in some areas especially the room ensuites which were a bit grubby . We dont eat seafood and they did accomodate this but the food was a bit repetitive for us . We enjoyed the kayaking and liked that we werent pressured to go ona ctivities if we didnt want to. The staff were lovely and the transfer there was comfortable. Our transfter on to Nihm Bihn wasnt quite as smooth or comfortable . Halong city/harbour isnt very pleasant
