• Old Quarter - You will be picked up from your hotel and taken to our bicycle store to choose a suitable bike. Our guide will provide a brief overview of the tour before we start cycling through the alleys, visiting the local market and key attractions. The tour will lead you to the Long Bien market.
• Long Bien Bridge - We will head to Long Bien Bridge, a symbol of Hanoi’s tenacity and resilience. Built by the Eiffel Construction company in 1902, it is the oldest bridge in Hanoi. You’ll have the opportunity to enjoy panoramic views of the Red River. Our tour continues through the peaceful banana and corn farms on Red River Island, a farming area in the heart of Hanoi that many travelers miss.
• West Lake - We will cycle along the banks of West Lake, stopping to enjoy the stunning views on Thanh Nien road. This spot offers a contrast between the old and new Hanoi, with the charming Old Quarter on one side and modern skylines on the other. We will ride through a bustling local market and visit Huu Tiep Lake in Ngoc Ha flower village, where an American B-52 aircraft was shot down during the 1972 Christmas bombing. We’ll also visit a family home to learn about everyday life and traditions in Hanoi, with our guide acting as a translator.
• Imperial Citadel of Thang Long - This route passes major city highlights such as the nearly 200-year-old Hanoi Flag Tower, the Hanoi Opera House, the 1000-year-old Thang Long Citadel, Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum, Presidential Palace, Ba Dinh Square, Tran Quoc Temple, and Truc Bach Lake.
• Train Street - Our ride will take us to the century-old Reunification Train Street, which runs through the heart of Hanoi where residents live just centimeters from the tracks. This is a great way to immerse yourself in the local side of busy and exciting Hanoi. We will have lunch at a local restaurant to savor Hanoi’s delectable cuisine, followed by a unique Egg Coffee before returning to your hotel. Let us share our love of Hanoi with you.
