Leifeng Pagoda - Begin your journey with a convenient pickup from your hotel in downtown Hangzhou or the Hangzhou train station. Enjoy a comfortable ride in our vehicle with a licensed driver who will assist with your luggage and take you to the first destination, Leifeng Pagoda. This octagonal, five-story structure is crafted from brick and wood, with brick forming the main body and wood used for the eaves, balconies, landings, and balustrades. The inner walls are adorned with stones inscribed with the Huayan Scriptures. Originally, sixteen vajra arhat sculptures were located at the base of the pagoda, but they have since been relocated to Jingci Temple. The pagoda is renowned in China due to the beloved folk tale, “The Legend of the White Snake,” a poignant love story about a girl who transforms into a snake and a young man. This tale has been adapted into numerous traditional operas, modern films, and TV series.

Su Causeway - Next, enjoy a leisurely walk along the Su Causeway. The enchanting peach blossoms, willow trees, plum blossoms, and vibrant flowers create a fairyland atmosphere that continues to captivate modern visitors just as it did in ancient times.

West Lake Pleasure Boat - After your stroll, unwind with a 40-minute private boat ride on the scenic West Lake. Delight in the stunning views of islands, causeways, temples, pagodas, and ornamental plantings. If you’re fortunate, you might witness the rare “Three Pools Mirroring the Moon.”

Huagangguanyu Park - Proceed to Viewing Fish at Flower Harbor, one of the top ten attractions of West Lake. Lingyin Temple - In the afternoon, transfer to the nearby Feilai Peak, located about 3 km west of West Lake. Also known as Peak Flying from Afar, it is said to have flown to China from India to spread Buddhism. The area is famous for its numerous Buddhist carvings along the riverbanks and hillsides, as well as within grottoes. Standing 168 meters tall, Feilai Peak is composed of limestone and features various fascinating caves formed by long-term groundwater erosion, including Longhong Cave, Jade Breast (Yuru) Cave, Shooting Sun (Shexu) Cave, and Roaring Ape (Huyuan) Cave. The caves’ unique rock formations resemble flying dragons, running elephants, startled apes, and crouching tigers. After the tour, you’ll be escorted back to your downtown hotel.

Hangzhou-Xizha

Wuzhen Water Town - After breakfast, enjoy a comfortable ride in our vehicle with a licensed driver who will assist with your luggage and take you to Wuzhen Water Town, approximately a 1.5-hour drive away. The town is divided by a network of rivers into Xizha (western street) and Dongzha (eastern street). Spend the day exploring Xizha, an ancient area now dedicated to sightseeing. Located on the west street of Wuzhen Water Town, Xizha features numerous unique manual workshops and classical pavilions. It comprises 12 islands connected by over 70 small bridges. Take your time to savor the serene beauty and poetic charm of Jiangnan water towns. Each shop here offers a single type of product, and the town is filled with classic bridges, canals, and elegant Jiangnan-style residences typical of the region south of the Yangtze River. A wide array of culinary delights is available in this relaxed setting, making it an ideal spot to experience classic Jiangnan water scenery. As night falls, don’t miss the night tour in Xizha. The water alleys, ancient bridges, and white walls are beautifully illuminated, transforming the ancient town into a dazzling spectacle. From an ancient bridge, enjoy the most stunning night view of Wuzhen.
