• Ahu Vaihu - In the morning, the guide will collect you from your hotel to commence the tour. The journey begins along the island’s southern coast, with the first stop at Vaihu to explore an Interpretive Rapa Nui Village. Here, you will observe traditional houses, ovens, and chicken coops, which were typical family constructions in ancient times.

• Ahu Akahanga - The tour continues to Ahu Akahanga, where you can view a platform featuring 12 moais and a typical un-restored Rapanui village, complete with remnants of houses, ancient ovens, and a small cave.

• Ahu Tongariki - Next, the tour heads east to visit Ahu Tongariki, renowned for its 15 restored moais, making it one of the island’s most famous platforms.

• Rano Raraku - The journey proceeds to the Rano Raraku volcano, where a one-hour walk allows you to see over 400 moais at various stages of carving. This stop provides insight into the carving and transportation of the statues, allowing you to experience the site’s enduring energy.

• Anakena Beach - The day concludes at the idyllic “Anakena” beach, known for its white coral sands and turquoise waters. The beach is also home to Ahu NauNau and Ahu Ature Huki, sites of significant discoveries.

On the return trip to town, you will pass by volcanoes and vegetation that form part of the island’s scenic landscape.
