Cooking at the home of Chef Rose in Hanoi - I was treated to a private cooking class in the home of Chef Rose - the kitchen was arranged as a professional space to teach yet was the family home - I met her charming daughter and other family members. We walked a few blocks to the local market to purchase ingredients. Each recipe was broken down I can definitely create these back at home in Chicago. This was all hands on - exactly what I wanted. Had a huge yummy meal I can’t believe I was so lucky!!! If you are looking to cook while visiting Hanoi schedule time with Rose.

Favorite Hanoi Experience - My friends and I did the food tour with Rose (the guide) in Hanoi in the Old quarter. It was my favorite thing we have done in Vietnam. Rose was so knowledgeable about the food and cooking and taught us about Vietnam’s history and culture along the way. We tried everything from Pho to Banh Mi to ice cream with sticky rice. I could not recommend her enough!

Experience Authentic Vietnam - Rose and her team were simply top notch! She is very knowledgeable, passionate and truly cares about her clients. We did food tours, motorbike tours and a cooking class with her and all were amazing! She has her team all over Vietnam and can set up tours in many different cities. We really loved Vietnam, and Rose is a big reason why!!

Markets, cooking, eating...! - Loved this event...starting with a walk and taste through the local wet-market. Rose introduced us to the history and foods of the market. Then we followed her through the alleys and pathways of her village in the middle of the Hanoi metropolis! What an adventure that only a local can give. Great insights to her life and that of her community. We helped her make some yum food and then eating...! Thanks to Rose and her beautiful family!!❤️

You must do this - A very, special and authentic experience not to be missed. Rose is warm, congenial and lovely. We had the very real experience of visiting her neighborhood, including the local market, and her home, with family present. It was an amazing experience to cook and share excellent food. Humbling, exciting, stimulating! - We were absolutely overwhelmed by the reality of Rose and her team. Rose’s genuine leadership, and her humble manner made her very approachable. We felt we could ask her anything as questions popped into our heads. My outstanding memory is of our cooking experience, Rose opened her local community, her family and her home to us. We saw her heart, her cultural pride and her commitment to working hard. I'm not sure she gets to sleep. When her wee girl, Strawberry, led us back to our minibus puck up point we realised what a safecommunity Vietnam was. Huyen and Mr Dat also reflected Rose’s enthusiasm and cultural strength, combined with a deep understanding of the importance of communication. We loved all the sights, tastes and interactions we took part in! ♥️🌟♥️🌟♥️🌟♥️🌟♥️🌟

Vietnamese cooking class at a wonderful woman's home - We booked our cooking class very spontaneously. Rose organized a taxi for us and everything went smoothly! The cooking class takes place at Rose's home. We felt right at home! Rose told us a lot about Vietnamese culture and how she grew up. She took us to the local market, explained and showed us the ingredients. We ate together with her! It was a once-in-a-lifetime experience. I recommend this tour if you want to immerse yourself in Vietnamese culture. Away from the tourist spots.

Amazing food tour with Nhung! - Nhung Nguyen was an incredible guide!! She is incredibly intelligent and speaks perfect English! We learned so much from Nhung! She took us on a walking food tour of the old quarter in Hanoi. She took us to local favourites and clean, reputable, and authentic places. The food was delicious (and endless) lol. She made us laugh and was very accommodating to our dietary needs. She is reliable and super responsive (to a fault!). Thank you so much Nhung. I would recommend her for every tour possible in Hanoi!!!! She is the best of the best!!!!!

Another unforgettable experience in Hanoi big thanks to Rose! 🙌🏽 The best guide out there! - It’s our second time in Hanoi & 2nd time doing the food tour with Rose & it was an AMAZING EXPERIENCE just like our first one! Food is really GREAT!!! But even better services that surpassed our expectations. Best Hanoi Experience because of Rose! - The food tour and cooking class with rose was the highlight of my trip to Hanoi by far!! Rose is extremely knowledgeable, kind, outgoing and hilarious! She caters to all different groups and types of people perfectly. The food we ate on the tour was incredible and everything was so different than one another. It was also a great way to see the city and walk off some of the fullness! The private cooking class was in roses beautiful home and it was so fun. She was so helpful and such a joy to be around. I highly HIGHLY recommend. Anything you do with rose will be one of your favorite memories because she is such a light of a person.
