Excellent class, great teacher. Hands on was very good, plenty of time, great experience
Spending time with the various hives was so fun and informative.
Tanya allowed us to handle the hives/bees and provided a hands on experience....asking us questions to ensure we understood what to look for when inspecting a hive. Tanya provided individual attention and was very patience with us as we learned about bees. Thanks Tanya!!
Tanya is a very friendly, knowledgeable presenter who has a wealth of information about beekeeping. She presents the ideas in an organized fashion and is very helpful getting the novice started handling bees for the first time. I feel more comfortable embarking into beekeeping and have a basic grasp of the purpose and technique of inspecting a hive. Thanks Tanya!
During my 25 plus years military and 15 years dealing with public I attended many instructional symposiums, non, that I can recall, was as well presented. Apiary maintenance, informative, much subject matter. I just hope that I can retain most. I've read many books on beginners beekeeping, but, Tanya's Book "Beginning Beekeeping" gets an A+. Thanks for the "Hands On" class. Al
