When City Hall was constructed in the late 1950s, a significant portion of its space was allocated to art galleries and a fully equipped performance theatre. The Anglican Cathedral is a classic Neo-Gothic structure that appears as if it has been transported from a European city and placed in the heart of Bermuda. Its towering arches and intricate stained-glass windows are as exquisite as any found abroad. The pulpit and lectern are replicas of those in St. Giles, Edinburgh, Scotland, and are regarded as exceptional examples of church sculpture.

Camden House was constructed in 1714. The architectural style of the era is prominently displayed in this Georgian property. The earliest records list Frances Jones as the owner, who resided there until his passing on September 12, 1796. Camden was then purchased by William Durham in 1810 but was sold again in 1823 to the Hon. Henry James Tucker, who served as the Mayor of Hamilton from 1851-1870. Tucker initiated the successful production of arrowroot for export in a factory located at the rear of the main house.
