Highly entertaining & informative - I visited with friends and we took a bus with Nicola as the guide. Due to a detour because of a demonstration the English recorded guide was not available, however Nicola kindly shared some of the information in English for me too. She’s a walking encyclopaedia and one of the best guides I’ve come across. My German friends told me that she delivered lots of interesting facts and told jokes that made it very entertaining. The other passengers appeared to be enjoying themselves also. The bus was comfortable and surprisingly warm in the freezing conditions. All the staff we met were really friendly. Hamburg is fascinating and taking this bus tour was worth every penny for what I learned!

An authentic experience with great entertainment value. - We were on the blue bus, not the red! It was very worth it, our chauffeur has spoken all the comments during the drive himself into the mic, not off the tape! That was unique because there were a lot of funny and funny anecdotes and sometimes a comment on the current events, we really enjoyed it. That was pure entertainment. And yet, many interesting historical facts and historical events. Since then I know where the expression "gate closing panic" comes from (a knowledge gap has been closed) and where Udo Lindenberg lives, etc. That was amusing and instructive to equal. Many thanks to the most authentic chauffeur in Hamburg. A unique experience, highly recommended.

Great busses - Buses for the most part were on schedule and with 4 routes it got you around the area. We took the red route which circles through Athens and the blue route the next day which took us down around the cruise terminals

On the move with the hop-on bus... - We thought the hop-off, hop-on... system was great, we could get off at the points we had chosen beforehand. Great!

Nice Intro to Hamburg - Overall was a good tour. We were in Hamburg on a Sunday, so unfortunately most things were closed and only outdoor activities and some restaurants were available. The bus picked up in a central location, with a few open shops & restaurants nearby. The Hop On and Hop Off spots were in good spots. The bus was comfortable and easy to spot. The headphones were provided so we could hear the tour in English, but sometimes the German speaker would be so loud that you could not hear the English translation. Went through interesting areas and was a nice introduction to the city. Would do again.

Well worth doing - A lovely and very interesting tour of Hamburg. The guide was a lively chatty lady who recounted lots of amusing stories and made it great fun (though the audio guide was naturally more basic!)

Wonderful but - Bus was amazing.. gave us headphones for English then the guide got on microphone and spoke so loud couldn’t hear headphones.. hard if you don’t understand German

Not recommended for English speaking guests. - There was extensive live comentary in German and basic comentary recorded in English. It was hard to hear the recording over the live coments.

Bust 🫣 - Never order online, as ticket sales take place,although no bus runs anymore!!!!Hop on/off red bus then kindly took us.....thanks a lot for that. 66€ paid via PayPal, was retained despite email and complaint. If you only let buses run until 4 pm, then why do you still sell tickets for the same day at 3.30 pm without pointing it out???? If the tour lasts 1 1/2 hours, the last ticket sale would have to end at the latest 2.30 pm!!!!

Don't use the yellow C line ! - C CLASSIC LINE . I am really upset that the bus driver advised us there were no more C hop on hop off buses at 13.19 on the 7th January, I boarded his bus with my 84 year old mother at 9.31am please see my receipt attached. We did the loop then got off at the Town Hall for a toilet and coffee break and wanted to get back on the hop on/off bus again at 13.19 in the afternoon where the same driver arrived and shouted at us and said there are no more buses, finished, I tried to ask him why but he was just rude, waved his arms and shouted "all finished". I paid for a hop on /off service that I did not receive, he would have left other travellers stranded along the route, and we could well have been one of them!
