We had a blast on the trail through the Red Canyon. I can’t say enough about our guide Whitney. She treated us like family. Experiencing the hoodoos on horseback was like going back in time to the Wild West. Thank you for an experience of a lifetime.
We had a great time during our half day ride! Maddy was an excellent guide. She was nice, cheerful, professional and was able to tell us a lot about our surroundings, nature and the area in general. She made our trip a wonderful experience. Also the horses were really good and gentle. We were both first time riders but with these horses that wasn’t a problem at all!
Die Landschaft ist atemberaubend, die Guides machen das so toll, unterhalten sich mit dir und halten die Gruppe zusammen. Die Pferde sind super geschult und leichtfühlig im Ritt. Einfach eine total tolle Erfahrung.
Great experience in beautiful landscape
Aleks and I are novice riders, going up into the canyon with experienced guides and wranglers was great. The horses were very calm and had lovely characters. I cannot imagine a better way to see the canyons, in the way they should be seen in the West. Fantastic and highly recommended. Travis and the wranglers were brilliant too, friendly and chatty, and totally comfortable with people and horses.
The trail was amazing. The guides were excellent.
While at Bryce Canyon I was determined to try my first western style horse ride! While the other guys in my party went on a hike I chose the half day ride. Well that was one of the highlights of my vacation. There were just four of us but that was great and I was given thumb to ride, it was just fantastic from start to finish. Whitney was really lovely and very knowledgable. I would highly recommend this ride and I'm sure if I had longer I would have tried other rides.
Kevin and Preston were great guides . We are pretty experienced riders and this trail was an easy one for us. It was a good trail for people that have minimal riding experience . Thank you!
Guides seemed a bit stressed and hurried during photo stop, beginning and end of ride. Would have been great to get some time to say goodbye to my horse and take some pictures. Horses were brought straight back to their round pen. Although, it was a great trip and wonderful ride in a beautiful area with lovely staff. Thank you!
Preston was amazing. We had a great time!!!
Amazing scenery, great horses and our wranglers were awesome. Cherish and Taylor made sure everyone was safe and comfortable with their horses. They showed us all of the beauty of red canyon
Mickey and all the staff including the horses were amazing! So much fun. Will recommend you!! One of my favorite days of my trip to Bryce Canyon. Dead eye was a great horse too!
Kevin and Travis made us feel safe and made the ride memorable with their stories. Would highly recommend this ride to anyone who wants a true "back to nature, up close and personal experience".
Our family of 5 (all newbies) had an awesome time from start to finish. Mickey made us feel at ease and took great care of us. The views were spectacular and our family will forever remember this adventure.
Super nice horses. Great group of tour guides. Pretty scenery wish the trail didn't go back the same way it came.
Horses and trail guide by Mickey was great. Would have liked to stop a couple spots on trails for pictures and to dismount at half way point to stretch prior to finishing ride. Overall positive experience.
Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. They went out of their way to ensure we were having a good time.
Overpriced for only riding 2 hours when it was supposed to be a half day ride.
The horses were awesome. I am an experienced rider but there were several "first time" riders along and no one had any issues with their mount. I was very impressed with the courtesy and friendliness of the wranglers. The scenery was stunning and the terrain very comfortable and safe to ride. Thank you for a wonderful, memorable experience!!
Great day on horseback. The ride was perfect for us beginner riders. Cherish, our guide was friendly and helpful.
Great horses, beautiful scenery and friendly guides, especially Kevin. Will try to do again. Highly recommend.
It would be helpful to have a microphone so all riders can hear the tour guide. Otherwise the ride would have been rated a 5.
We were very happy to ride in this environment, horses were great ! But the experience could have been even better if the guide proposed to take some pictures of us during the ride or before getting off of the horse to have a nice picture of us on the horse. And with my boyfriend we were at the back of the ride so we did not hear the guide talking except when we made some stops.
We had a wonderful time and the view was spectacular. Our guide, Johnny, was very knowledgeable and pleasant.
We ended up getting a private tour for the three of us. Kevin was awesome, super informative, and very personable. Horses were very well trained. We rode Cherry, bartender, and Bobo. It was one of the highlights of our trip.
I was sompressed with how warm, welcoming, engaging, and fun the wranglers and guide were. The horse I rode, “Tuxedo” was like a dream! We rode through Red Canyon and it was absolutely gorgeous from start to finish. My experience completely exceeded any and all of my expectations and I will definitely be back!
Our children 14 & 11 years had a brilliant three hour ride with their guide Bill, it was one of the highlights of our holiday to ride in Bryce Canyon through a couple of snow showers. We would throughly recommend Ruby’s Horseback Rides.
Bill was a great guide and going into Red Canyon instead of Bryce was peaceful.
Guides and horse quality couldn't have been better
My wife and I went on the half day horse back ride through Red Canyon. It was the first time my wife had every ride a horse and we both had a great time. Mickey and Bill made sure everyone had a good experience. And the scenery was beautiful!
Great family outing
I was on vacation with some big guys and you could still put them on a mount- great ride!
Great ride with family. Thank you.
Kevin was great!
It would have been nice to offer to take pictures at the turnaround. Bill was great
The guides were friendly and looked and acted like genuine cowboys. As a novice rider, I felt safe in their presence. The trail ride was scenic, and the guide, Chance, offered some stories and answered all our questions. There was a family in our group with 2 children, and I was surprised that they did not require them to wear helmets for safety.
Our guide, Chance Christiansen, was very helpful and responsive to the needs of the group...particularly my wife (she had less riding experience and needed a little TLC, which he perceived and didn't hesitate). Great horses, too! We'll be back!!
Chance was a great guide! Beautiful country. Lots of fun. I would definitely recommend it.
Overall the ride was great! I would rate the experience 4.5 stars. It would have been nice to hear about the history/geology/current issues of the area in which we rode. I have been on walking tours where guests are outfitted with earphones so they could hear the guide speak.
The guides got to know a bit about our experience with horses before beginning. Throughout the trip they provided good information about the area, scenery, and history and they were very friendly. We have never had such a great time riding horses.
Great outing in beautiful country with professional, considerate, and local folks.
