Great tour. The sites... - Great tour. The sites were amazing. The history of the city with the castle, the underground catacombs, the mosque, the Mediterranean Sea, the Library and seeing the locals.

Cairo to Alexandria - 10 hr Guided Tour - Very nice tour of Alexandria. Driver, Wahid, was great and the tour guide, Mohammad, did a great job. Be prepared for the long drive, and the Egyptian traffic. But, overall worth the effort and price.

Good Day Trip to Alexandria from Cairo - Overall the tour was good, filled with details of Egyptian history. Our guide Reem is very knowledgeable and helpful with meeting our needs. The driver Belal met us on time and we had a pleasant ride.

Lovely day - A long day with lots of driving, but got to see some amazing sites. Our guide was very polite but not as informative as some can be, was nice to be left to explore the site at our own pace

Disappointed - The vehicle that took us was small, uncomfortable, dirty and in poor condition (even with the windshield broken). Very scarce lunch. The very nice guide

Car-and-Driver-only trip to Alexandria. - We booked a car-and-driver-only trip to Alexandria. The driver arrived on time, which we appreciated. However, upon arrival we discovered he had picked up the wrong guests because he did not confirm names. We had to involve hotel staff to contact the company and arrange a swap at a meeting point. This caused unnecessary confusion and delayed the start of our trip. During the tour, we were told that the Alexandria Museum and the library were closed and that we would not be able to enter the mosque. However, the driver still took us to the mosque and the library to take photos outside. We later learned that the museum was in fact open and that entry to the mosque was permitted. We were appropriately dressed, so attire was not the issue. This left us feeling misinformed and disappointed. As we entered Cairo, the driver requested additional payment for “parking and toll gate fees,” stating they were not included in our booking. I explained we would verify this at the hotel once we had internet access to contact the operating team. He later dropped the request but then repeatedly asked for tips for taking photos and pointing out infrastructure during the drive. While tipping is customary and appreciated, the repeated requests felt uncomfortable. He was still tipped in the end. The most concerning moment occurred when I asked how much longer to the hotel. The driver showed me his phone with a translated message that read, “I’m tired of you today.” It appeared the translator captured something he had said before showing the time. Regardless of circumstances, that comment was unprofessional and disappointing. Aside from the driver’s conduct, Alexandria itself was beautiful and the overall itinerary was good. However, the experience was affected by the issues mentioned above. I would still recommend friends to use the service but to be careful.

12 hours that ended up being 9 hours - The driver was punctual. We left at 7:00am and, shortly after, we were in Alexandria. All promised attractions of the tour were offered by the driver. We decided not to know the Roman Amphitheatre to have more time in the Library of Alexandria; however, in the Library the driver only gave us the already defined time of the tour (1 hour). In summary: the 12-hour ride ended up happening in just 9 hours, as we were back at 16:00h with the driver passing the impression of being in a hurry to resolve his private matters.

Waste of money and time - Awful - do not waste time or money if coming from Cairo. 1) ‘10h itinerary with 1h in each site’. I spent no more than 10-15 minutes at all sites except citadel. Left Alex within 3.5h of arriving. Spent most of time in back of dirty car (inside and out!) with no AC! Picked up 6am, arrive Alex 930am. Left Alex at 1pm. In Alex for 3.5h, with no more then 1h-1.5 at sites total. Felt very rushed. 2) Guide not very knowledgeable. Guide shared 1-2 facts then was left to ‘explore’, explore what? Had to really question guide to get information, even then it was lacking. 3) Lunch? Served smell bowl of koshary at corner of busy junction during peak traffic. Covered in exhaust fumes. Meal cost no more than 60EGP yet I paid a premium for lunch in my ticket? Daylight robbery! 4) Car was not ‘latest model’. Other groups on same private tour (confirmed by guide) were in nice, new, spacious (4x4) and **washed** cars. My car was dirty both outside and in! 5) No water given

Worst trip ever - Im very disappointed with the service today: 1. You informed us that bottled water is included, however driver insists it’s not. We bought our own as a result. It’s the second time I. Booked with you wherein water is not provided. 2. You did not mention to us that the Library of Alexandria is closed on Fridays, and still proceeded with our booking even though the itinerary says otherwise. 3. We barely spent time on the Mosque. 2 minutes. Because of Ramadan. If everything is short handed today, why even bother booking. 4. We spentONLY 40 minutes each on the citadel, catacomb, andthe ampitheatre despite in the booking it says one hour. Driver insists that it is due to Ramadan, even though our tours beforehand took longer I dont understand why we arepaying full price for a whole day tour if you are givng us a half day experience. 5. We requested to eat. Driver suggested we eat in a fish market. He says only cash is allowed, but it turns out card is also allowed. 6. We were not accomodated during this fish market an we were really hungry, we just asked the driver to take us to Mcdonalds. Suddenly, the driver insisted that we eat the food whil going home because of Ramadan, when he was perfectly okay with waiting for us in the fish market. 7. As a result of eating inside the car, i got very dizzy and got a very wild headache All I am saying is that I respect Ramadan, but please do not advertise a whole day tour if that is not what we are getting. We only went to 3/5 of the places we visited, and seemingly those three felt very rushed This is the last time im booking this tour group even if i still have many days in Egypt
