The Call of the Wild: Setting Out for Minneriya

As the afternoon sun began its descent, casting a golden hue over the lush landscapes of Sri Lanka, I found myself eagerly anticipating the adventure that lay ahead. The Minneriya National Park, renowned for hosting the largest gathering of Asian elephants, was calling my name. Having spent countless hours documenting the majestic creatures of Africa, the prospect of witnessing such a spectacle in Asia was thrilling.

The journey from Habarana to the park was a scenic drive, with the jeep bouncing along the rugged paths, each jolt heightening my anticipation.
