Ha Long Bay cruise - We did 2 day 1 nights trip. Everything was seamless from pick up in Hanoi to return. Boat was lovely with 18 cabins onboard and the most amazing staff. Don’t worry that beverages not included as very reasonable onboard. Food feels continuous and great variety . Activities keep you busy from caves , cooking class, hill climbs, kayaking. Would highly recommend as family or couple

Ha Long Bay Athena Royal Cruise experience - I had the best cruise experience with Athena Royal Cruise. Their service was top notch and definitely a 5 star overall. Their service cabins were specious with nice balcony and beautifully furnished. Their service food was nice and catered to both vegetarian and non-vegetarian guests. The tours were well organized and the stewards were knowledgeable and very helpful. Ha Long Bay is like no other place in this planet and going on this cruise was definitely a highlight of my world travels. Thanks to Tony (the cruise manager) and his capable team making this experience so great for us. 10 out of 10

Excellent All Round Experience - We had an amazing 2D1N overnight experience with La Casta Cruise in Lan Ha Bay, and it was one of the absolute highlights of our Vietnam trip. If you’re looking for a luxury overnight cruise in Lan Ha Bay (quieter alternative to Halong Bay), La Casta is an excellent choice. The cabin was spacious, spotless, and beautifully designed, with a private balcony overlooking the limestone karsts. Waking up to the calm waters of Lan Ha Bay was unforgettable. The ship itself is modern, well-maintained, and feels premium without being overly flashy. The food was outstanding — fresh seafood, authentic Vietnamese dishes, and well-presented multi-course dinner. Breakfast and brunch were generous and delicious. Definitely above expectations for a cruise What truly stood out was the service. The crew was warm, professional, and attentive throughout the journey. Everything ran smoothly from pickup in Hanoi to drop-off. Lan Ha Bay itself felt less crowded than Halong Bay, which made the experience more serene and relaxing. Highly recommend La Casta Cruise for couples, families, or anyone wanting a comfortable and memorable overnight cruise in Northern Vietnam. Worth every bit.

Worth it - I was a bit hesitant to go on a Ha Long Bay Cruise, but it was absolutely worth it. Great experience with unique views even though it was hazy most of the time. The crew and all staff was incredibly friendly.

Really great boat trip - Great trip. Although it’s quite short it’s definitely worth it. All the staff are amazing, huge clean rooms, so much amazing food. Good excursions - kayaking, swimming, karaoke. Would definitely recommend

Very nice Halong excursion - Nice bus from Hanoi. Tender transfer to the boat takes 20 minutes or so and you really can’t see much as the seats in the boat are quite low and the windows dirty. The cabins are very nice with huge beds and bathrooms. Food is just ok. We only cruised for two hours and then stopped to kayak which was great. The scenery is amazing. You then cruise back to the same anchorage which affords time to relax and enjoy the scenery. The tour of the hospital cave (via tender and bus) is just ok. Nice experience but it’s really on 18 hrs on the ship.

This is not a trip for... - This is not a trip for solo travelers under 50 years old. The stuff is great but the value of what you get for your money especially with the additional cost for a single room is not worth it in my opinion
