Perfect - The cruise was full of activities and everything was great. As we were vegetarians, the crew prepared food for us that still tasted amazing. The crew was very warm and welcoming. We had less language problems in the cruise compared to the rest of Vietnam. To be honest (and by that I mean actually honest), I can’t think of a single bad thing! Everything was perfect. The cruise was filled with fun and my favorite part of it was the kayaking and the marvelous visit to the Surprising Cave, don’t stay back and miss it (they give you an option whether to go to the cave or not). Whether you like a calm vacation or trips filled with energy, I’m sure you’ll like the cruise . I would like to give a special mention to Mr Chien, the manager of the cruise and Joey.

Relaxing Halong Bay tour - Fantastic cruise in Halong Bay. The boat was gorgeous - we were lucky to have a corner cabin with a balcony - the staff and food were excellent. Michael the cruise manager was excellent and ran a great Tai Chi class on deck, he made sure everyone was safe and had a great time, and had a good sense of humour too. We were expecting to tour Halong bay more, but you just go to the place where activities are (caves, beach, kayaking) and dock there overnight then go back. But it's a wonderful tour to do at the end of your trip as you really relax.

2D1N Cruising with Athena Luxury Cruise line in Ha Long Bay - Love Cruising on Athena Luxury Cruise 2 Days and 1 Night February 2025 Cruise manager Chien was friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating. He mingled with us on the top deck. He introduced local popular dishes to us while dinner….We felt right at home. It was our first trip to HN and we wanted to experience the Ha Long Bay and we did! We spent the night on the cruise ship. We were satisfied with the services provided. The foods were great! Ha Long Bay is beautiful 😍; not only the breath taking scenics, the stunning caves, the many mountains, the calm ocean, but the people we met (the cruise teams) are fabulous. If time permits we will be back to a longer cruise next time. Look out for Chien, great customer services! ❤️ Read less

Super!! - The trip was amazing! The boat was really nice and so were the rooms. But above all…what an amazing, warm and friendly crew. We would like to thank you all. Andy, thanks for all the (clear) information and all the nice activities. Mr. Chien, thank you too for making sure everything was arranged smoothly. Hope to come back again! Excellent loved it all - Wow wow this cruise ship, food and the Elegant Suite and Balcony on the 2nd floor were all amazing. The trips were great too, all well organised and prompt. There was nothing not to love. We did 2 days and 1 night which was perfect for his. Our personal person from the port to the end was called for short Gin (I think) was very personable, without being too over the top - perfect.

Great experience and fabulous staff - We had a lovely time on the Athena. We done a 2 night cruise and it was the best option because we got time to relax and we were not rushing trying to do everything in one day. We were picked up from the hotel at 8.30am and had a 2 hour drive in a luxury bus to Ha Long Bay port. We stopped off at a Pearl museum/shop en-route. We were looked after by Hannah once we stepped off the bus. Hannah was so good at her job and made sure we were well looked after from the start of our cruise to the end. The food on board was top class. All fresh food brought on board every day. We visited a cave and TiTop island and went for a dip in the sea on day 1. We kayaked to 3 x seperate caves on the second day, saw a few monkeys and visited a pearl factory. We were very unlucky with the weather as it was raining and cold during our time there but that did not stop us from enjoying it.

Halong cruise don’t miss out - What an amazing trip from start to finish. Collect from your hotel for 2hr approx journey with tea break. Arrive at the port all luggage taken ahead. Take you on small boat to the vessel and then transfer into the Athena 2. We had premium suite with balcony. Activity are planned trip to cave and the Titop mountain as well as things to do in the boat such as a cookery class. Top deck is amazing for the sunsets. Would definitely recommend this and the service is out of this world.

Good experience - Boat v clean. Food good. Helpful and efficient staff. Chien was our host and was very professional and spoke good English. He ensured that we were looked after at all times. Henry was our guide on the trips and was very informative. He is a lively chap who wants to ensure you're having fun and succeeds. Enjoyed the trip but I was surprised how many boats are in the bay doing same thing but that's naivety on my part...

amazing first-time cruising - what amazing cruising. this is my first time in a cruise ship. this is wonderful trip. the sea was calm and soft. with cool windy breeze. the ship crew was firendly. but unlucky for the squid fishing
