Ha Giang – Quan Ba – Yen Minh – Dong Van

Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark - Start your day early for a sunrise photo opportunity. After breakfast, ascend the mountain to Dong Van Karst Plateau Global Geopark. Pause at various spots in Quan Ba and Yen Minh to appreciate the exotic landscapes and capture photos. Lunch will be served at a local restaurant in Yen Minh town.

Post-lunch, proceed to Dong Van. Along the way, enjoy a 1.5-hour walk on mountain trails through local Hmong villages before visiting the historic Palace of the Hmong King in Sa Phin valley. Arrive in Dong Van around 4:30 PM. If time allows, take a leisurely walk up to the French Fortress of Dong Van for a panoramic view of the town at sunset.

Dong Van – Trek In Ma Pi Leng Pass – Cao Bang City

Ma Pi Leng Pass - Begin the day with a visit to the Dong Van market. If it’s Sunday, you’ll witness the unique weekly market fair of the Hmong people. Savor a traditional Vietnamese coffee in Dong Van Old Quarter. After the market, a 20-minute drive will take you to the starting point of the Ma Pi Leng pass hike. Prepare to be captivated by the stunning beauty of this world-renowned destination. This 2.5-hour trek leads you to the top of the pass, winding through Hmong villages and cornfields, and concludes with a stroll along the high corridor path overlooking the Nho Que river and Tu San canyon. After a brief pause to admire nature, continue to Cao Bang City, with lunch in Bao Lac district.

Cao Bang – Ban Gioc Waterfall – Nguom Ngao Cave – Quang Uyen

Ban Gioc Waterfall - Detian Falls - Embark on a journey to the breathtaking Ban Gioc waterfall, the fourth largest border waterfall in the world, located between Vietnam and China. Quang Uyen – Ba Be Lake – Cycling In Ba Be National Park

Ba Be National Park - After breakfast, embark on a 3-hour drive to Ba Be Lake, navigating through five mountain passes. Arrive in Cho Ra town by lunchtime. After lunch, head to your homestay in Pac Ngoi village, where you’ll begin a 4-km bike ride on a local path to Hua Ma cave, renowned as the most beautiful limestone cave in Northeast Vietnam. Spend an hour hiking up to explore the cave and admire its stalactites and stalagmites.

After visiting the cave, return to Ba Be Lake at Pac Ngoi village, an authentic Tay village by the lake. After checking in at the homestay, walk to Pac Ngoi wharf for kayaking and a refreshing swim in the lake’s clear waters.
