Quan Ba Heaven Gate - Quan Ba Heaven Gate is a stunning and picturesque location in Ha Giang province, where visitors can admire the breathtaking views of mountains, valleys, and villages. A highlight of Quan Ba Heaven Gate is the Twin Mountains, also known as the Fairy Breast Mountains, which are two rounded hills resembling a pair of breasts. Legend has it that they were left by a fairy who fell in love with a Hmong man but had to return to heaven.
A stop at the checkpoint will last about 20-30 minutes.
Yen Minh - From 11:00 – 12:00, lunch is served in Yen Minh Town, featuring rice, meat, egg, and vegetables. Vegetarian options are available upon request.
Viewpoint dốc Thẩm Mã (trên) - The Tham Ma pass stretches about 5 km at an altitude of 1500 meters, featuring a sharp zigzagging road. At the top of the pass, a checkpoint offers a perfect spot for capturing photos of the winding s-shaped road. Ethnic minority children often wander here with flowers.
A stop at the checkpoint will last about 20-30 minutes.
Dinh Vua Meo - The Hmong king palace served as the residence for two Hmong kings, Vuong Chinh Duc and Vuong Chi Sinh, who governed the mountainous region of Ha Giang province from the late 19th to the mid-20th century. Constructed between 1902-1907, the palace showcases a blend of Hmong, French, and Chinese architectural styles. It comprises 64 rooms, divided into three zones, and is fortified by a stone wall. Nestled in Sa Phin valley, surrounded by mountains and fields, it is a national relic and a popular tourist attraction in Ha Giang province.
The visit here will last about 1 hour.
Dong Van Ancient Street - After a day of motorbiking, guests will stay in Dong Van ancient town. Located in the heart of Dong Van, the town is encircled by rocky mountains and is renowned for its centuries-old houses, vibrant highland markets, and lively festive evenings. As a cultural and commercial hub of Dong Van town, it offers cafes, restaurants, homestays, and souvenir shops.
Dinner is served from 18:00 – 19:00 in a restaurant, featuring options like chicken hotpot or rice, meat, egg, and vegetables. Vegetarian options are available upon request. Afterward, enjoy free time for activities such as coffee outings, karaoke, drinks, or massages (not included in the tour).
Dong Van Town - Ma Pi Leng Pass - Nho Que River - Du Gia Village
Dong Van Ancient Street - Check out at 8:00, followed by a Vietnamese breakfast. At around 8:30, continue the journey on 4C road to conquer the Ha Giang Loop.
Ma Pi Leng Pass - Ma Pi Leng Pass is renowned as one of Vietnam’s most famous and challenging passes, with its rugged curves and steep cliffs. Spanning about 20 km and rising 1,200 - 1,400 meters above sea level, it offers a breathtaking view of the Nho Que River and the Tu San Canyon, the deepest canyon in Southeast Asia. As a UNESCO Global Geopark, it boasts unique rock formations and the cultural heritage of the ethnic communities residing in the area. Ma Pi Leng Pass is ideal for adventure and nature enthusiasts eager to explore Ha Giang province’s beauty and diversity.

Nho Que River - Flowing through Ha Giang Province, the Nho Que River offers a stunning view of the Tu San Canyon and the Ma Pi Leng Pass, both renowned for their beauty and challenge. The river is a favored destination for adventure and nature lovers seeking to appreciate Ha Giang province’s beauty and diversity. A boat trip along the river to admire the scenery will take about 2 hours, including a journey down the river and up the mountain.
Meo Vac - After a busy morning, head to Meo Vac Town for lunch before taking another road back to Ha Giang city. Lunch includes rice, meat, and vegetables, with vegetarian options available upon request.
Du Gia - Du Gia village is a serene and charming location in Ha Giang province, situated in the heart of Du Gia national park. Though less popular than other Ha Giang destinations like Dong Van, Meo Vac, or Lung Cu, it offers its own unique attractions. Home to 14 villages and 9 different ethnic minority groups, including the Tay, Hmong, and Lo Lo, Du Gia village showcases unique traditions, costumes, and languages. Visitors can explore the Du Gia waterfall, just 5 km from the main town, a refreshing and scenic spot for swimming, rock jumping, or simply enjoying the view. Du Gia Village - Road 181 - Lung Tam Weaving Village - Ha Giang City
Du Gia - Breakfast is served around 8 - 9 AM, followed by a return to Ha Giang city.
Lùng Tám - Lung Tam weaving village offers a glimpse into the traditional Hmong linen weaving process, a craft passed down through generations. Located at the base of a high mountain in Lung Tam commune, Quan Ba district, Ha Giang province, the village is home to about 130 Hmong households. They cultivate hemp and create various linen products, such as clothes, bags, scarves, and blankets.
The intricate and labor-intensive Hmong linen weaving process involves 41 steps, from planting hemp to dyeing and embroidering the fabric. Using natural materials and hand techniques, the Hmong people craft unique and colorful patterns that reflect their culture and identity.
