HA GIANG - BAC SUM PASS - HEAVEN GATE - HANDICRAFT - YEN MINH: 100km

Marvel at the natural beauty of mountains and forests, with the green bamboo trees blending with flowing rivers and immense dams creating a majestic scene. Ride uphill to Bac Sum Pass, which features 20 winding curves, often called the ‘snake road.’ From the top, enjoy a panoramic view of the landscape and valleys, where hidden villages of ethnic minority groups can be seen. The tour will then proceed to the Heaven Gate in Tam Son, located over 1200m above sea level. Here, witness a spectacular landscape with magnificent limestone mountains and vast deep valleys. Next, ride to a viewpoint to see the Twins Hill and visit a clay house village called Nam Dam.

Quan Ba Heaven Gate - 3:00 pm: The tour guide will take you to visit a local family who uses ‘hemp’ to weave fabric and create traditional clothes. Experience their daily life and witness the traditional craftsmanship of the indigenous ethnic people, with enthusiastic guidance from our tour guide. Afterwards, continue the motorcycle journey along the river towards Yen Minh, where the night will be spent. Along the way to Yen Minh, traverse many lesser-known country roads, allowing you to witness breathtaking landscapes and explore hidden villages. A stop will be made at the peak of the loop road to admire an overview of the valley.

YEN MINH - THAM MA ROAD - H’MONG KING PALACE - LUNG CU FLAG TOWER - THIEN HUONG ANCIENT VILLAGE - DONG VAN: 80KM

Dinh Vua Meo - 8:30 am: Enjoy breakfast at the homestay and prepare for a long day of driving. At 9:30 am, from Dong Van, riders will take about an hour to reach Tham Ma Road, one of the biggest challenges for the horses that once lived here. This road features 9 winding curves, which are very beautiful. Due to its steep incline, many horses in Ha Giang gave up, hence the name ‘Tham Ma’ in Sino-Vietnamese, meaning ‘testing horses.’
+10:30 am: Arrive at the palace of the king who once ruled the entire mountain region in the 18th century when this area was very wild. Admire the wonderful architecture of the ancient Hmong people and learn more about Vietnamese history, culture, and the formation of the people in this area. This is an opportunity to gain more knowledge and deepen your understanding of this place.

Lung Cu Flag Tower - 1:00 pm: Visit Lung Cu Flag Pole, where you can see the border area between Vietnam and China. The views are splendid and vast from the flag pole or observation point. If time permits, visit a village called Lo Lo Chai, where a small group of ethnic minorities live in Vietnam. See their traditional houses built from clay, and enjoy lunch at a local restaurant.

Dong Van - Arrive in Dong Van late afternoon, just in time to enjoy a delightful dinner after a day full of adventures.

DONG VAN - MA PI LENG PASS - MEO VAC TOWN - MAU DUE VALLEY - HA GIANG: 130km

Ma Pi Leng Pass - 9:00 am: After a delicious breakfast, depart from Dong Van Town. The motorbike rider will take you to witness the most beautiful section of the entire journey, located on the Happiness Road connecting Dong Van and Meo Vac. This section is known as Ma Pi Leng Pass, famous for its rugged cliffs and breathtaking views. It is considered the most challenging pass in the northern region and often referred to as the “king” of passes in Vietnam. The road winds through the cliffs and reaches an altitude of 2,000 meters as it crosses Ma Pi Leng Pass.
