Ha Giang City - Quan Ba Heaven Gate - Lung Khuy Cave - Yen Minh

Quan Ba Heaven Gate - Located in Ha Giang Province, Vietnam, Quan Ba Heaven Gate is a stunning entry point to the Dong Van Ky rock plateau and marks the start of the renowned “Road of Happiness.” From the mountain’s summit, visitors are treated to breathtaking views of the Dong Van rock plateau, including the expansive Quan Ba valley with its terraced fields and ethnic minority homes. Lung Khuy Cave - Lung Khuy Cave, a natural marvel in Ha Giang Province, Vietnam, is acclaimed as the most beautiful cave in the Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. The cave is entwined with the legend of a Mong ethnic couple who sought refuge there to escape familial opposition to their love.

Situated near Tam Son town in Quan Ba District, the cave stretches about 300 meters in length and 30 meters in height, adorned with diverse stalactites and stalagmites. It features two entrances, one facing the valley and the other the mountain. The cave is well-lit and equipped with wooden walkways for exploration.

Viewpoint dốc Thẩm Mã (trên) - The Tham Ma Pass, approximately 5 km long and situated at an altitude of 1500 meters, features a sharply winding road. A checkpoint at the pass’s summit offers a perfect spot for capturing photos of the winding s-shaped road. Ethnic minority children often wander here with flowers.

The stop at the checkpoint will last about 20-30 minutes.

Dinh Vua Mèo - The Hmong King Palace in Ha Giang is a historic site that served as the residence of the Vuong Dynasty kings, who governed the Hmong people in the early 20th century. Constructed between 1898 and 1903, the palace blends Chinese and Hmong architectural styles. It comprises 64 rooms, 10 buildings, and 3 courtyards, adorned with sacred animal imagery. A stone wall surrounds the palace for protection. The Vuong family amassed wealth and power through opium trade, forming alliances with both French colonialists and Ho Chi Minh’s revolutionaries. Recognized as a National Historic Landmark in 1993, the palace is now open to tourists.

The visit to the checkpoint will last about 30-60 minutes.

Lung Cu Flag Tower - The Lung Cu Flag Pole, a national emblem of Vietnam, is located at the country’s northernmost point, near the Chinese border. It stands atop Lung Cu Peak, approximately 1,470 meters above sea level. The 33-meter-high flag pole bears a large Vietnamese flag measuring 54 square meters, symbolizing Vietnam’s 54 ethnic groups. Lung Cu Flag Pole is a source of pride and patriotism for the Vietnamese people and a tourist attraction offering breathtaking views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.

Northernmost Point of Vietnam - The North Point marks the furthest border adjacent to China, with a spectacular road leading from Lung Cu to The North Point.

Dong Van Ancient Street - After a day of motorbiking, guests will stay in Dong Van ancient town. Nestled in the heart of Dong Van and surrounded by rocky mountains, the town is renowned for its centuries-old houses, vibrant highland markets, and lively festive evenings. It serves as a cultural and commercial hub, featuring cafes, restaurants, homestays, and souvenir shops.

The ancient town showcases a strong Chinese architectural influence, with red lanterns and sacred animal imagery, such as dragons, phoenixes, turtles, and cranes, symbolizing power, longevity, wisdom, and peace.

Dong Van - Ma Pi Leng Pass - Nho Que River - Meo Vac Town - Du Gia Village

While traversing the pass, stops will be made at checkpoints offering the best views, with breaks lasting about 30 - 45 minutes.

Nho Que River - Flowing through Ha Giang Province, the Nho Que River offers a stunning view of the Tu San Canyon, Southeast Asia’s deepest canyon, and the Ma Pi Leng Pass, one of Vietnam’s most renowned and challenging passes. Du Gia - 181 Road - Lung Tam Weaving village

Lùng Tám - Lung Tam weaving village offers a glimpse into the traditional Hmong linen weaving process, a craft passed down through generations. Situated at the base of a high mountain in Lung Tam commune, Quan Ba district, Ha Giang province, the village is home to about 130 Hmong households who cultivate hemp and create various linen products, including clothes, bags, scarves, and blankets.

The intricate and labor-intensive Hmong linen weaving process involves 41 steps, from planting hemp to dyeing and embroidering the fabric. Using natural materials and hand techniques, the Hmong people craft unique and colorful patterns that reflect their culture and identity.
