Review Ha Giang - I had an unforgettable experience on the Ha Giang Loop. The journey was absolutely stunning, with breathtaking mountains and peaceful villages everywhere. Kelly was an amazing guide—she was very friendly, caring, and knowledgeable. She introduced us to many local cultures and explained clearly about the traditions of different ethnic groups, which made the trip much more meaningful. The driver was extremely skilled and careful, so I always felt safe on the challenging roads. I also learned a lot about local food, and Kelly recommended many delicious traditional dishes that I will never forget. I truly miss Ha Giang, the people, and the warm atmosphere. This trip gave me beautiful memories that I will always cherish.

2 night tour - Stopped in at some really cool stops on the way and spent some time in each spot so it did not feel like we were just driving the whole time. Kelly was our tour guide along with Thang & Thanh As the 2 drivers and they did an awesome job driving us around and explaining there culture with us. Also did a great job at keeping our corn wine always full. Awesome experience highly recommend.

Northern Vietnam Living and Natural Beauty - It rained all 3 days of our trip but Kelly our guide was fantastic. She encouraged us to see the sites even if it seemed that it was worth it to get out in the rain. She was very knowledgeable, friendly and very helpful. She was always going over and beyond for us telling locals are requests and knowing just the right amount of information to share with us. I learned so much about the local people and their lives. She was always polite not just to us but everyone. Her English was very good and she felt like family by the end of our trip. We

Best experience. - We had an amazing three days. Hoang our guide is the sweetest person who made sure we were so well looked after for the whole trip. His knowledge around vietnams history was extensive and we loved learning about it. Hoang taught us a card game which we will take back home with us and play as a family. Nhat our driver was always smiling and made sure we were always safe even in the rain. Thank you to both of them for making this tour so special.

Jeep tour in the mountains, incredible views, basic living. - This was a beautiful tour in a hard to reach region. I can definite recommend it for people wanting to experience the far North of Vietnam and the mountains. 3 days of driving and exploring, 2 nights in a private room in modest homestays. Good: landscape, food, waterfall, viewpoint stops, very good driver (Quyen) and I felt safe in the car despite mountain roads, trucks to overtake, potholes, roadworks and the occasional incredible steep drive. I'd emphasise that this is definitely not a luxury tour, some discomfort must be expected. Hostels are not hotels, food is taken communally. Toilets at the viewpoints. Our competent guide, Finn, did a good job, particularly since he was guiding 3 groups at once, 2 Jeeps and a motorbike group. This demanded his good organisation and communication. Pretour communication from Authentic Tours was very good. In the spirit of improvement, here are a couple of points I'd change: the 2nd homestay was really not up to scratch. Food was good but there was no hot water, no water pressure in the taps and only one sheet on the bed. The coordination of all 3 groups felt clunky occasionally, we had to wait for each other at stops during the day and keep in convoy. Finn did his real best here but we still had one town stop of an hour while our driver tried to find out where to meet the others. My main reason for not giving 5 stars is that I booked a jeep tour, however the expected 4 people in the jeep would have meant a really squashed and uncomfortable tour, they are really not built for 4. The 3 on the hard back seat is untenable. I was luckily able to join 2 people in a car but this was an unpleasant situation right at the beginning. 4 full-size adults is just too tight a fit in my opinion. Great experience and we learned about the history of the area.
