- 13:30 Proceed towards Dong Van to visit: Tham Ma pass, Pho Cao village, Sung La valley, Lung Cam cultural village rich in H’Mong ethnic culture, “Pao’s house”, Tam Giac Mach field, Moon rock field in Sa Phin village.
Quan Ba Heaven Gate - Quan Ba Heaven Gate is among the top five renowned Heaven’s Gates in Vietnam, alongside Anh Giang Heaven Gate (Cao Bang), O Quy Ho Heaven Gate (Sapa), Linh Quy Phap An Heaven Gate (Da Lat), and Nghinh Phong Heaven Gate (Vung Tau). Situated at the entrance to the Dong Van karst plateau, Quan Ba is a must-visit when in Ha Giang.
The journey to Quan Ba Heaven Gate (Ha Giang) is a stunning route for backpackers. It is located on National Road 4C, linking Ha Giang city and Tam Son town. From Tam Son, it’s just a 3km drive north, or about an hour’s drive covering 46 km from Ha Giang city center.
Lung Cam Cultural - Tourism Village - Lung Cam Village, nestled in the heart of Sung La Valley, Sung La Commune, Dong Van District, is home to three ethnic groups: Mong, Lo Lo, and Han, with 85% being Mong people. Sung La Valley offers a picturesque karst plateau with endless mountain ranges, lush corn fields, vibrant gardens, and ancient houses.
H’mong houses in Lung Cam village share a similar appearance with rustic, moss-covered walls encircled by rock fences.
Lung Cam is also where the famous house of Pao from the award-winning film ‘Story of Pao’ is located. The house is open for visits with an entry fee of 10,000 VND per person.
The village is set in a charming valley with 61 households, 53 of which are Hmong ethnic families. Visitors to Lung Cam village can enjoy the serene landscape and the tranquil lifestyle of the locals.
Christ The King Statue - -16:30: Visit the Vuong family mansion (King of the Hmong people): Here, you can truly appreciate the life and culture of the H’Mong people. In the late afternoon, under the day’s last sunlight, experience the authentic architectural blend of three cultures: H’Mong, French, and Chinese.

-19:30: Dinner, followed by a leisurely stroll around Dong Van old town to savor street food at the Dong Van old town night market.
DONG VAN TOWN – MA PI LENG PASS – NHO QUE RIVER – MAU DUE – DU GIA
Dong Van Karst Plateau Geopark - -8:30 am: After breakfast, explore the legendary Happiness Road, the awe-inspiring Ma Pi Leng Pass, and the stunning Nho Que River.
Checkpoints: Ma Pi Leng monument, the perilous road to Death’s snout and Dinosaur’s spine, walking on the sky path, offering a panoramic view at the foot of the pass. Enjoy the panorama viewing point and several scenic check-in spots at the top of the pass.
Ma Pi Leng Pass - Visiting Ma Pi Leng Pass allows travelers to immerse themselves in the region’s natural beauty while experiencing the rich cultural heritage of the local ethnic communities. The journey along the pass is an adventure, with numerous opportunities for hiking and motorbiking.
Nho Que River - - Take a boat on the Nho Que River to witness the highest Tu San canyon in Southeast Asia, a natural masterpiece unique to Ha Giang.

Du Gia - -12:30: Lunch in Meo Vac Town. Then continue the journey from Meo Vac town to Du Gia, a road with stunning views and winding paths through endless valleys. Checkpoints include: M pass shooting location, Mau Due, Lung Ho.
-17:00: Arrive at Du Gia commune center, check into a local homestay in Du Gia village, enjoy dinner with Tay cuisine, and savor corn wine, affectionately called “happy water.”
DU GIA – DUONG THUONG village LUNG TAM – QUAN BA – HA GIANG city
Thâm Luông Waterfall - -8:30 am: After breakfast, stroll around the village, bathe in Du Gia waterfall, then head back to Ha Giang city.
Lung Tam village - -On the way, stop to admire and visit beautiful scenes: the Duong Thuong valley, Lung Tam weaving village.
Enjoy lunch at Tam Son town - Quan Ba and return to Ha Giang city around 5:00 p.m., shower, and rest at a hostel or homestay.
Lung Tam is renowned as a traditional craft village for brocade weaving by the Hmong on Dong Van plateau, Ha Giang province. Besides brocade products favored by both domestic and international visitors, the unique weaving process in Lung Tam village attracts visitors to Quan Ba district.
Visiting Lung Tam village, visitors can experience the locals’ daily life. Hmong women diligently work with looms to create exquisite brocade and linen pieces from flax fibers. Weaving a fine brocade piece is a source of pride for Hmong women.
