Ha Giang City - Pac Sum Pass - Heaven Gate - Nam Dam Village - Yen Minh - Tham Ma Road - Hmong King Palace - Dong Van

Ha Giang - The Ha Giang Jeep Tour begins at 8:00 am at the office in Ha Giang City. Alternatively, the operator can pick up participants from their hotel in Ha Giang City. A brief overview of the tour itinerary will be provided before departure.

On the first day, the Jeep Tour in Ha Giang will take participants to witness the most impressive scenery, featuring spectacular landscapes and breathtaking views. Just 10 minutes outside the city, the stunning mountains and winding roads become visible, offering beautiful mountain vistas.

The first notable pass is Pac Sum Pass, where the landscape is spectacular at an altitude of over 1000 meters. The temperature noticeably cools, and the Jeep will stop at a viewpoint for a panoramic view of the valley and villages, showcasing an amazing and stunning view.

Quan Ba Heaven Gate - After enjoying the view from Pac Sum Pass, participants will continue on the open-air Jeep, enjoying the beautiful landscape and valleys. The journey continues through limestone mountains and villages, leading to Heaven Gate, where the landscape is breathtaking, and the deep valley is spectacular. The view from Heaven Gate is truly awe-inspiring.

The open-air Jeep then descends into the valley of Tam Son Town. On the way, participants can see the deep valley and visit Lung Tam Village, home to the Dao Minority people. The Jeep will park at the village, allowing for a walk around and a visit to local families to learn about their culture.

Lung Tam Village - After leaving Lung Tam Village, the tour returns to the main road, continuing to Yen Minh. On the way, the Jeep will pass Can Ty Slope, offering views of rocky mountains and Hmong minority villages. At the peak of Can Ty Pass, a panoramic view of the valley reveals the stunning limestone mountains of the Karst Plateau Geopark. Lunch will be at a viewpoint in Lao Chai Village, with beautiful terraced rice paddies visible from the restaurant.

Yen Minh - Lunch will be at a local restaurant.

Dinh Vua Meo - After lunch, the tour continues to Dong Van, with several stops at famous sites. After 20 minutes, the Jeep will ascend Tham Ma Road, stopping to view the famous 9-step road and its panoramic landscape. Before reaching Dong Van Town, a visit to the Vuong family’s residence, known as the “Hmong King Palace,” is included.

Dong Van - The journey continues to Dong Van Town, where the landscape is spectacular. Upon arrival, participants will check into their rooms and have free time to explore Dong Van Town, staying overnight in a traditional house with a private room.

Dong Van - Happy Road - Ma Pi Leng Pass - Meo Vac - Ma Road - Mau Due Valley - Yen Minh - Quang Ba - Ha Giang

Ma Pi Leng Pass - After breakfast, at 8:30 am, participants will check out and load their luggage onto the Jeep, leaving Dong Van for a beautiful day. The Jeep Tour begins on Happy Road, offering views of Ha Giang’s most spectacular landscapes, including the renowned Ma Pi Leng Pass. This pass provides breathtaking views of the valley and Nho Que River below. Known as the most beautiful part of the loop, the open-air Jeep allows for an overview of the valley and river. The Jeep will stop at a panoramic viewpoint for a walk and photo opportunities of the Nho Que River and valley.

Meo Vac - After Ma Pi Leng Pass, the Jeep continues to Meo Vac, passing through the valley and Meo Vac Town. If it’s market day, there will be a 30-minute stop to visit the local market. The journey continues through the famous M Slope Pass, showcasing numerous beautiful places and limestone mountains, making it hard to leave such a stunning landscape.

Quan Ba - The Jeep travels through Mau Due Valley Village, stopping for lunch at a local restaurant. After lunch, the journey continues to Yen Minh Town and back to Ha Giang City, passing through Quan Ba and Pac Sum Pass. The tour concludes between 5:00 pm and 5:30 pm. Upon arrival in Ha Giang City, participants can relax, shower, and have dinner near the office before boarding a VIP sleeper bus to Hanoi, departing at 8:00 pm and arriving around 3:30 to 4:00 am.
