Day 2: Explore Global Geo-Park – Magic Eye Mountain – Ban Gioc Waterfall - Local Village
Cao Bang - 7:00am - 7:30am: Enjoy a breakfast of Cao Bang Rice Paper, Duck Noodle Soup, or a Pancake upon request.
7:30am - 9:30am: Travel along a scenic road in the Global Geopark, from Cao Bang city to Ma Phuc Pass, then follow the village road of ethnic communities. Visit a paper craft or forging village of the Cao Bang people, where you can explore stilt houses, learn paper-making or forging, and gain insights into the local lifestyle.
Nguom Ngao Cave - Explore Ngao Cave (Tiger Cave), which retains its untouched beauty, featuring natural stone columns formed over millions of years.
Admire the stalactites, sculpted by nature into thousands of beautiful shapes such as a tiger statue, lotus flower, boat, cactus, jellyfish, and magic stick. Enjoy lunch at Thac Ban Gioc Restaurant and visit Truc Lam Zen Monastery in Cao Bang.
Ban Gioc Waterfall - Detian Falls - Visit Ban Gioc Waterfall, where water cascades down to a river beside a fragrant rice field with a refreshing breeze. Walk closer to the waterfall to feel the mist on your skin. The river marks the border between Vietnam and China.
God’s Eye Mountain - Return to Cao Bang via a different route to ensure a varied tour experience. This path features distant mountains and hills, with lush fields below, carefully tended by farmers. If fortunate, enjoy a sunset at the breathtaking Angel Mountain, a must-see in Cao Bang province.
