Fantastic experience - Armen (driver) and Aref (guide) took great care of us. Gyumri has a very different vibe than Yerevan, and is a must-do for anyone who wants to get a fuller picture of Armenian culture and history. Aref is a wonderful guide. One of the absolute highlights for us of our visit was to experience her singing a hymn for us in an old Armenian church. We would warmly recommend Hyur's services to anyone wanting to set up tours within Armenia.

Recommended if you’re into Culture - The whole trip was really nice. We saw beautiful landscapes although would have been better if we had went during spring but still Gyumri was really nice. What made the whole experience better was Sona’s (our guide) rich information she shared with us and her eagerness to answer all our questions. We also appreciate Hamiq our driver who was indeed very nice and drove us safely until the end of the trip.

Perfect for visiting Armenia - NB: the tour included the Harichavank Monastery. This is not the first time we go on a private excursion with Hyur. We appreciate being able to go at our own pace in a small group of friends, with a very reasonable price. As before our excursion was perfect. We had this time taken a guide speaking French, Anoush is a real well of knowledge and speaks perfectly. We were at 6 with friends in a minivan driven by driver Hovanes who is very friendly and drives with caution on sometimes difficult roads. Thanks to them!

Armenia, the country where Jesus Christ is still the king - The tour is very well organized well framed very interesting on the early 20th century history of the city of Garnie. Churches are also very important for the history of Armenia, as they combine Catholic, Armenian and Orthodox Christianity

- Tour with guide Anait & driver Hovanes was amazing! Anait not only delivered speech on the way to the sights, but also was ready to answer any questions and helped selecting local fruits and bargaining with sellers on our way back. Hovanes helped us carry acquired purchases to our hotel, which was handy. And many thanks to the organization of this trip: we decided to stay in Tsaghadzor to evade Yerevan heat, so all our private tours were re-organized and re-calculated based on our distant location.

Excellent day tour to Armenia's city of culture! - Excellent day tour with guide Anna and driver Hamik! Both were superb. The tour was extensive and Anna's knowledge of Armenian history brought to life all the buildings and events she was explaining. I especially enjoyed the walk in the old part of the city. We entered several churches built in different centuries. I especially liked the Mother of God church in the main square but the highlight was the Marmashen monastery set in splendid countryside. Great tour!

Great trip, nice day - We had a great trip with our driver, Arthur. He was very helpful, friendly, kind and attantive. Arthur gave us a lot of interesting information. He took us to the Iron Fountain, when we asked him. Any time we asked him, he stopped for taking photos. We've seen a lot of beautiful places. Our favourite was Aruch Cathedral. Highly recommend!

Hyur Service - I went with Hyur Service to Gyumri on 9th June. Everything was fine with the trip until the very last minute when I was disembarking from the coach. In the overhead storage I had a silver bracelet that I had bought for my wife. It was contained within an ornate box with a closure mechanism. When I tried to get my bag down the bracelet fell out. I scrambled on the floor trying to find it. There was a slight chance that one of my fellow travellers may have stolen it but in all probability it was still there when I was the last passenger on the bus. The guide helped me with a cursory search lasting all of 10 seconds but a more protracted search would have probably found it. The guide promised me that the driver would search for it and that he himself would inform the office about the matter. The office had not been informed about the bracelet when I went in the next day. in an exchange of emails they denied any responsibility by falling back on their Excemption clause in their contract, which had no legal effect as these terms and conditions were not specifically drawn to my attention at the time I entered into the contract and they didn't cover theft which this clearly was. In every other respect it was a good tour. If the guide was not in such a desperate hurray to get me off the bus I may well have found it. Nil points for the tour therefore.
