- Black Fortress - The Black Fortress is an abandoned Russian imperial fortress in Gyumri. Located 8 kilometers from the Turkish border, it was constructed in response to the Russo-Turkish War of 1828–1829. It stands as one of Armenia’s most beautiful historical-cultural monuments.
- Gyumri - Saint Michael Church - This Russian Orthodox Church is near the current Gorky Park, on the “Patvo Blur” platform. The clock tower, made from local black hewn stone, is known as “Plplan Zham” due to its shining tin dome.

Abovyan Street - At the beginning of the 20th century, Alexandrovsky Street, now called Abovyan, was the showcase of Alexandropol, which is present-day Gyumri.
Barbershop and Pharmacy Buildings - The oldest barbershop and pharmacy in Gyumri are iconic historical landmarks. The barbershop, established at the onset of the Second World War, retains its vintage charm with old chairs and signs. It houses electric hair-cutting devices that are over 45 years old.
- Museum of National Architecture and Urban Life - The renowned Dzitoghtsyan family house was constructed in 1872 by four brothers who moved from the Western Armenian village of Dzitogh to Alexandropol (now Gyumri). Built with the famous red tuff stone of Shirak, the house-museum showcases a collection of Alexandropol’s social life from the 19th century to the 1920s, highlighting the city’s cultural, architectural, and religious aspects.
