From this point, there is an hour-long walk on a relatively easy trail leading to Nogo-dan at 1505 meters. For those eager for more, the hike can extend along the rugged Jiri-san ridge to Banya-bong at 1753 meters. Returning to the vehicle marks the completion of a full-day hike. This trek offers expansive views of the rest of Jiri-san National Park. Afterward, there is an opportunity to visit some renowned and beautiful Korean Buddhist temples. A hearty meal featuring delicious local mountain vegetables and meats can be arranged at the end of the day.
