The driver will meet guests at any location in the Fenghuang area at 7:00 am. Guilin is located 400 kilometers from Fenghuang, and the journey takes approximately 12 hours by private car. This duration includes stops at the Hongjiang Ancient Commercial Town and the Longji Rice Terraces.

Hongjiang Ancient Commercial Town is situated at the confluence of the Yuanshui River and Wushui Water. It originated during the Spring and Autumn period, developed in the Tang dynasty, and reached its peak in the Ming dynasty. It is the best-preserved group of ancient buildings. According to expert research, the town still retains over 380 structures from the Ming and Qing dynasties, including monasteries, basement houses, money shops, trade firms, foreign firms, workshops, shops, inns, brothels, and newspapers, covering a total area of about 200,000 square meters.

The Longji Rice Terraces in Longji village are renowned for their impressive beauty and are considered unparalleled worldwide. These terraces are accessible from Guilin via mountain roads with breathtaking views. With a history spanning over 700 years, the terraces are still used by Yao and Zhuang villagers to cultivate high-quality rice. The terraces are ingeniously built into the hillsides, resembling giant steps that wind around the mountains, maximizing the use of limited arable land and water resources in the mountainous region.

Itinerary:

• 7:00 am - 9:30 am: Pick up from Fenghuang hotel and transfer to Hongjiang.
• 9:30 am - 12:30 pm: Visit Hongjiang Ancient Commercial Town and enjoy lunch.
• 12:30 pm - 4:00 pm: Transfer to Chengyang Dong village.
• 4:00 pm - 5:30 pm: Visit Longji Rice Terraces.
• 5:30 pm - 7:30 pm: Return to Guilin or Yangshuo hotel.
