汉语课 - I wish my school lessons had been as much fun and educational as Becky's one-on-one Mandarin class. I enjoyed each and every one - Becky has a great sense of humour and FANTASTIC laugh! Highly recommended

Personalized Chinese Language Lessons - I recently had 10 one hour private lessons in Chinese with a lovely young woman by the first name of Becky. She came to the Yangshuo Traditional Tai Chi School once per week for me as well as for a few of the other students. Becky was very attentive to my lack of understanding. We began by learning single words that I wanted to know so as to get around town easily. From there she taught me the Pinyin form of Chinese, the tones, and proper sentence structures. I have learned quite a lot in the short time in which she was my teacher. It has been much easier for me to get around now knowing how to ask for and direct a taxi to where I wish to go, ask for the bill or the toilet in a restaurant, change large notes for smaller notes at the bank, etc. I would recommend Becky to anyone interested in learning the Chinese Language in a heart beat! She is very personable, quite compassionate and has a great sense of humor. So I would say that you need look no further and give Becky a call. You won’t regret it! Cheers! G. Shaffer

Fantastic teacher and a great person! - I have had two trips to China this year (summer for a month and winter for 2 weeks) and both times I had almost daily Mandarin lessons with Becky. I felt that my level improved greatly after both trips. Becky has a very patient manner, is very friendly, knowledgeable, and her lessons are always interesting - with challenges at just the right level. I would highly recommend her - and I personally can't wait to get back to continue our lessons!

Chinese lessons with Becky - My husband and I had a week of Chinese lessons with Becky. It was very short, unfortunately, but so rewarding. During this short time, she taught us a lot of things, Chinese of course but also Chinese culture, Chinese thought, Chinese history, good places to visit, good dishes to taste, etc. She is a perfect teacher to guide Westerners in their quest for Chinese knowledge. Excellent teacher! - I had Chinese classes with Becky whilst staying in Yangshuo and she is a great teacher! She made classes fun and interesting, I always felt like I learned a lot and she kept me motivated to keep learning. She is efficient, fun and great at bridging the gap between Chinese and English, making it easy to learn. If you're looking for private Chinese classes, I can highly recommend Becky!

Excellent! - As a high-level learner, it’s not easy to find a capable teacher who can help me with my fossilized errors, but Becky was able to suggest ways for me to improve. I had a lot of fun in her lessons, but I also always finished the class with my brain fried as it was actually a lot of work! I’m planning to keep working with her even when I’m not in China and have my lessons online! Highly recommended to every level!

Chinese with an excellent teacher - I lived in China for 2 years without being able to formulate a single sentence:p but since I started my classes with Becky I'm starting to feel the change, even if I'm a lazy student (I never do my exercises):p highly recommend!

Excellent teacher - Becky is my first real Chinese teacher. Her best ability is that she is very flexible and her prices are good. She is so flexible that she came to visit me for a month, almost everyday, to teach me Chinese when I was in the hospital and was bed bound even bringing me groceries as well. She taught me my first word in Chinese "toilet" which was very helpful when in the hospital. After a few months when I was stuck again with my Chinese she came to help me. I'm very grateful to have met her and to have a lot of lessons with her. Without her my Chinese would still be very bad so I give my teacher 5 stars. Thank you so much Becky. Zai jian!

Great teacher, great location - I had been to Yangshuo before and had also been studying Chinese with 6 Becky before. Yangshuo has a wonderful water and mountain landscape and is great for cycling and hiking. Becky is a great teacher and understands the difference in the way of thinking of Chinese Westerner which is really helpful in analysing her students' problems. She is a really reliable and helpful person and can help organising tours or trips to other places and in case you run into any problems she will know what to do... I will definitely come back to Yangshuo and take Chinese lessons with Becky again.
