• Yangti Dyke - Yangdi Village is situated on the west bank of the Li River, about 50 km (31 miles) from Guilin and 40 km (25 miles) north of Yangshuo County. Behind the village is a hill with twin peaks resembling two sheep hooves hanging upside down, giving the village its name, Yangdi, which harmonizes with ‘Yangti’, the Chinese term for ‘sheep hooves’.

• Jiuma Mountain - Mural Hill (Jiuma Mountain), also known as Nine Horses Fresco Hill, is a must-see attraction on the Li River. Located on the west bank of the river, about 60 km (37 miles) from Guilin and near Xingping Town, it features a large, steep stone cliff resembling a painted screen. The cliff, with its five peaks and weathered rocks in yellow, white, black, grey, and green, looks like a mural depicting nine horses in various poses.

• Xianggong Mountain - Initially an obscure small karst hill on the west bank of the Li River in Yangshuo County, Xianggong Mountain gained fame after a local photographer won a bronze prize in an international photography contest with pictures taken from its summit. It has since become a popular destination for photographers.

• Xingping Town - Once the largest town along the Li River in ancient times, Xingping Town is 63 km (39 miles) from Guilin and 25 km (15.5 miles) from Yangshuo, on the east bank of the river. The town is surrounded by captivating scenery, with Mural Hill and Yellow Cloth Shoal as part of its scenic area.

• Xingping Fishing Village - Located on the east bank of the Li River upstream from Yangshuo, this fishing village has a history of over 500 years, dating back to the Ming Dynasty in 1506. The village showcases typical Lingnan or southeastern Chinese provincial culture.

There are 48 traditional residences remarkably preserved over the years, featuring blue brickwork, black tiles, sloping roofs, horse head walls, cornices, and carved windows. These houses are classic examples of Ming (1368-1644) and Qing (1644-1911) dynastic architecture.

• West Street - After the river cruise, enjoy 4 hours of free time in the Yangshuo area, where you can relax on West Street or explore other activities.

West Street, the oldest street in Yangshuo with over 1,400 years of history, has become a cultural hub since the 1980s, blending Eastern and Western cultures and serving as China’s largest ‘foreign language center’. It is the most vibrant district in Yangshuo, attracting around 100,000 foreigners annually for travel or advanced studies. Visitors are drawn to West Street for its unique cultural mix.

West Street is 517 meters (1,696 feet) long and 8 meters (26 feet) wide, winding in an ‘S’ shape. Paved entirely with marble, it exemplifies a southern China street, admired by foreigners for its simple style and courtyard-like setting. It is said that ‘half is village while the other half is stores’.

• Impression Sanjie Liu - At 6:30 pm, your guide will meet you in the Yangshuo West Street area to head to the show. The light show lasts for 70 minutes (7:30 pm to 8:40 pm), and you will return to the Guilin hotel around 10:30 pm (9:00 pm to 10:30 pm).
