• Xianggong Mountain - At the summit, one is enveloped by verdant peaks, reminiscent of a bamboo garden after a refreshing rain. From this vantage point, Xingping Pier, Dahebei Village, the ancient Walled Hill, Chaoben Hill, and the Yellow Cloth Reflection area are all visible. The sunlight casts a striking contrast of light and shadow across the mountains, creating a vivid three-dimensional effect. The sky is adorned with cotton-like clouds, draped over the hills like a pristine, flawless blanket. Gazing down, the Li River appears expansive and green, its tranquil waters mirroring the mountains that embrace its surface.

Itinerary:
09:30–10:30: Pick up from Yangshuo hotel/Yulong River Park gate/Guilin hotel and transfer to Damian Hill.

10:30–11:10: Ascend the hill.

11:10–12:00: Relish the view from Damian Hill.

12:00–13:00: Descend the hill.

13:00–14:00: Return to West Street for lunch.

15:00: Return to Yangshuo/Guilin hotel.

Damian Mountain, also known as Goupo Mountain, is situated in Yangshuo Xingping, diagonally opposite the Huang Ni Tian area, and is accompanied by Snail Hill. The Li River flows from west to east, creating a large “bow” shape around the winding mountain, forming the most picturesque scenery of the Li River, often referred to as “the first bay of the Lijiang River.” Damian Mountain is an excellent spot to appreciate the Lijiang River. It is located in the middle of the “Gong” character and is considered the best place to view the sunrise over the Li River.

Note: Before booking this tour, it is advisable to check the weather forecast, as rainy conditions can make the climb up the hill very slippery.

Activity Level: High - This is a very active excursion requiring constant effort, involving over 400 meters (1,030 feet) and 1,250 stone steps.
