- Guilin Yaoshan Mountain Scenic Resort - At 8:30 am, the guide will meet guests in the hotel lobby and transfer them to the Guilin Tea Science and Research Institute, a key institute in Guangxi. Visitors can enjoy a Tea Performance at the Tea Plantation near Yao Mountain. Located about 10 km from Guilin city center, this tea plantation is operated by the leading tea research base in Guangxi, offering a unique experience in tea leaf picking, manufacturing, and tasting. During this 1-1.5 hour exploration of Chinese tea culture, the staff will demonstrate professional skills in picking and tasting tea, as well as the detailed process of tea making. Additionally, a special tea performance show is prepared.
Warm tip: From November to March, it is not the ideal season for tea leaves to grow, so picking is not available during this time. However, tea performances and tastings are available year-round.
