We had an inside tour of the park and had a blast. We will be back!
Awesome experience! The tour was fascinating. I lived the way we were able to be so close to the animals.
This is a great place to visit. Well maintained and knowledgeable staff. A must see. The sloth encounter was amazing!
The tour was great and Danielle did an excellent job. I wish there had been just 20-30 minutes at the end to look around a bit more at the exhibits that my daughters liked the best. My one real concern is that Shadow exhibits stressed behavior. I hope she gets attention. Another wolf or compatible animal might help.
I can’t believe this hidden gem is less than 2 miles from my house! We had a fantastic time!!!
The whole experience was great! My grandchildren enjoyed the entire tour. Would recommend it to anyone.
Great guides and cool animals to look at
Our family enjoyed the Open Tour and the Reptile Encounter Add-On! The staff was very informative and accommodating. The email we received prior to our visit that gave detailed instructions helped the day go very smoothly. We appreciate all the effort that the owners, staff, interns and volunteers put into taking great care of such a wide range of animals.
Gwen and Melanie made it a really wonderful experience for my sister and I.
Incredible family experience.
Great up close and personal experience. Our guide was amazing and very nice. Both me and my kids had a great time and plan to go back soon.
Gwen was amazingly patient with everyone. Very knowledgeable about every animal and educational too.
Bottom line of my satisfaction is that my 11 year old grandson enjoyed the tour and experience. The guide was personable, knowledgeable, and kid-friendly, which I consider to be a "big plus". I'm not quite sure what was so "exotic" about what we saw, nor whether or not it is any better than a traditional zoo experience. (Although most zoo trips do not include the interaction and enhanced info that the guide presented.). It was a dreary day, and a lot of old/rusty/shabby equipment caught my eye. I would not discourage visitors from taking the tour, but would recommend that owners pay more attention to storage and/or removal of equipment that is not in active use.
The tour was informative and heartfelt. The animals were all very clean and healthy as well. I will be back for another tour for sure.
TGR takes great care of the animals and they all seem happy, which is not always the case with zoo animals. The staff definitely cared about the animals and the facilities and were very knowledgeable and friendly. We will go back again sometime for sure.
This was the second time we have visited and we had a fantastic time again. My kids absolutely loved it and my 4 year old won't stop talking about it! The value is great and the animals are really happy to see the visitors. We were able to get up close and personal with the animals and truly felt like we were a guest of honor rather than a paying guest. We will be back again, soon !!
What a fun experience! All the animals seemed healthy and well cared for, and the tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. We read the website and came prepared with waterproof boots.
Knowledgeable and very friendly!!
Staff was very knowledgeable and great tour host.
When we drove up we weren't sure how great of an experience to expect. Its a small place located in a residential area. But, the guide did a great job of giving backgrounds on all the animals in their care. There was quite a variety of animals to see and we were even able to pet quite a few. It was very educational and you can interact with some of the animals which we really enjoyed. My girls (ages 11 &13) really enjoyed it and my 13yr old plans to volunteer there after doing some junior keeper camps next summer.
We enjoyed staff and animals
Amazing place! I was surprised by the number of animals and how close we could get to them. The animals are obviously well cared for and it was great to see them up close. Our guide, Danielle, was fantastic and very informative. We will be back! Highly recommended.
The tour guide was very friendly and informative and also very patient wt the two 3 yr olds in our group :) And we really enjoyed seeing and learning abt your unique animals
Great facility, great animals, & wonderful people!
What a fun little tucked away spot to bring your kids and see such a wide variety of animals! I was pleasantly surprised and would definitely recommend

TGR Exotics was great! I didn't expect such a variety of animals, many of which I've never seen in person before. The guy who gave us the tour was fantastic and very informative. My only negative comment is that I would definitely recommend wearing mud boots, there are areas of soggy ground.
The tour guide was very good. He was very informative and good about answering all questions.
Good informative tour. Neat animals and not too long
We truly enjoyed our visit! We had a 18 month old child with us - time frame for the guided tour was perfect. The tour guide was very knowledgeable about the animals and gave us plenty of time to ask questions and take pictures. We will recommend TGR Exotics to other family members and friends.
Our time with the spider monkey was precious. She was so sweet and we were not rushed and could ask a million questions. Would highly recommend to any animal lover young or old!
Devin Root, our tour guide, is extremely knowledgeable and has a fantastic personality. He made our tour very pleasant. This place is a hidden gem in Spring. I highly recommend you go.
I loved this surprising little place! The tour guide made the animals even more relatable; I enjoyed the stories he related about his relationships with them. This place is not flashy but they seem to take very good care of the animals. I will say this - chasing my very monkey-like toddler to keep him from getting too close to the cages would be my only word of caution for others. Everything is fenced off, it's just the fencing isn't necessarily toddler proof. You can bring a stroller, but it really needs to be a sturdier model with bigger wheels as the walkways are just stone pathyways or grass. Thanks for a lovely morning!
Fun and very informative! Kids had a blast!
Tour guide was friendly and knew the animals. Lots of fun.
It was nice to have a small group and hear information about all of the animals. My children and I loved it!
