We were not looking for a curated, gourmet experience, but rather, a fun night out with a guide to help us. We got exactly this with the help of Rodrigo . He helped the group get to know each other, took us where locals go, and explained the rules of tapas ordering and eating. He also encouraged us to use our Spanish to order and pay for our selections. We really appreciate this tour as it allowed us to consume as much or as little as we wanted. No big mark up on food , instead, Rodrigo explained how much every thing would be, and when there might be a free item. I found his approach incredibly respectful, as our Canadian dollar does not go far here in Europe. This also allowed us to reserve budget for our guide. In other words, the money we spent went directly to our local guide and to the small establishments we visited. Great concept and we would do it again, especially with Rodrigo.
