Stu is an awesome guide. Very knowledgeable and an engaging storyteller. He picked a great selection of restaurants. High-brow and some ‘low-brow’ (but only in the sense that the type of food (e.g., sausage biscuits) is considered low-brow - made with locally sourced ingredients, though!). We loved the tour!

The tour was great fun and very informative. Stu is a fantastic host/guide and very generous with the effort he puts into the tour. My expectations were exceeded by a wide margin and I heard nothing but positive comments from the other 10 folks on the tour. I will happily recommend the tour to anyone.

Stu was very knowledgable. As a local in Waynesville, we enjoyed learning more about Ashville that we would not of known or experienced. The tour was very fun and would recommend.

Loved it.....Took the food fan tour on 10/22 with Stu and can't say enough great things about him and the tour. Lots of local knowledge and a great way to learn about this mountain town on our first day there. The sampling of food was diverse and delicious. A must do in Asheville.

All six of us really enjoyed the tour. Some folks had the opportunity to enjoy dishes they would never have ordered on their own and found them to be quite good. Stu was full of good info on both Asheville itself and the food scene there. He was was funny and totally unpretentious which established a nice relaxed vibe. The food choices and stops were varied and delicious, and the staff at all the spots we stopped was welcoming and helpful. Highly recommended.
