Loved the tour, but also really appreciated all the foodie recommendations for our stay in Bologna. We’ve eaten at quite a few of them, and they’ve all been awesome. Thanks!

Brilliant guide, exceptional knowledge, superb food!
Knowledgable and enthusiastic guide and great food locations !
My whole family (two children, two adults) absolutely loved this tour and our fabulous tour guide! She was charming, so knowledgeable, and clearly very proud of Bologna's wonderful food heritage. We also learned a great deal, and everyone we encountered along the way couldn't have been more helpful and interested in telling us about what they produced. We would definitely book another tour with them - it was my children's favourite activity, so the tour very much accommodated for a wide-ranging crowd. Thanks so much!
Our guide was fantastic. We learned a lot about the city, in addition to enjoying delicious pizza and gelato. We never felt rushed and our guide answered all of our questions. She even recommended a great restaurant for dinner later. I would highly recommend this tour.
We were so lucky. There were just two of us on this tour and everything was personal and perfect. We loved all of the food explanations and the pizza and gelato were the best we have ever had.
We spent a very pleasant three hours with Sara our guide who was informative on the history of Bologna which gave us a great insight into the culture as well as the food of the city
Want to experience Bologna with all of your senses? Then this is definitely the tour that satisfies all of your expectations! Learn about the main historical facts while tasting the finest wines, enjoying some excellent pizza, prepare your own piece of pasta and hear the true story of those typical local specialties such as mortadella and parmiggiano. And to top it all off, there is a delicious cone of gelatto waiting for you at the end. Not to mention the personal care by a local guide. Particularly appreciated the further tips of where to drink the best coffee or eat the best plate of cold meats. Highly recommended!
Andrea was our guide for the tour and he was simply great! Andrea is knowledgeable, smart, clear with his explanations, funny and kind. He knows Bologna very well and you can feel his real love and passion for his own city; we discovered hidden gems of the city and tasted some amazing food! Bologna is such a beautiful city and this food tour is a great way of walking around and see the city while tasting delicious food and learning important facts and secret about the local cuisine...not to be missed!
We booked the tour very late on Friday night for Saturday afternoon but nevertheless Andrea was extemely accommodating and organised everything quickly for us. Our guide Caterina was very friendly, knowledgeable and obviously passionate about Bologna, it's food and coffee. We did the Pizza & Gelato tour with our two children both under 12 and they both really enjoyed it. We should mention that our guide was very engaging with the children which made it a nice experience for them. We found it a great way to orientate ourselves in the city. We followed up on several of Caterina's tips for coffee, bread and food the next day we were not disappointed. Overall we found it a great way to start our stay in Bologna. We'll definitely visit again and next time we'll try the classic tour.
We had a wonderful tour. Caterina was so friendly and informative; her love for the city of Bologna and its culture shines through. Such a grand way to meet the city and its food!
Our tour guide Sara was very knowledgeable and delightful. We enjoyed our three hours together. We only had one day to tour Bologna. This was the way to do it.
The tour was fun, informative and tasty! I loved learning a bit about the history of Bologna and was pleasantly surprised by how the tour combined information as well as the pizza and gelato.
We were a small group and Elena showed us all the nice spots in Bologna and she knew everything about the city! We had a great time with great, special pizza and one of the best gelatos in the world.
We had a really great afternoon. The pizza and Gelato was exceptional and we thoroughly enjoyed learning all about the city with Elena. She was highly knowledgeable and very friendly. Would definitely recommend.
Sara was very knowledgeable and friendly! It was lovely to walk about the markets and hear a bit more of the history of the city and the food
We had signed up for the Pizza and Gelato tour, and we were lucky enough to have Andrea (the founder) lead our group. The three hours flew by, and aside from tasting fantastic pizza and gelato, we also heard new stories about Bologna and got to see some great local places! Can highly recommend this tour!
We had a great time on the tour. I just thought we would have spent longer at the pasta shop and had more of an opportunity to get involved. We were only there for 10 minutes and only made 1 tortellini so we didn't learn very much which is a shame and a bit misleading.
