Quality tour and very nice tour guide
Jeff was a great tour guide and made sure that we were all comfortable in our kayaks and that we made it to the best spots to view the bats. His knowledge of the history and facts made it a great experience - so much better than just watching for the bats to come out on our own!
Jeff was a great tour guide. He was friendly and helpful. The bats were pretty cool too!
Our tour guide, Jeff, was awesome! Such a sweet guy. Great, down to earth vibe with a genuine love and passion for what he does. Went out of his way to ensure everyone had a great time. We felt terrible that we didn’t think to bring cash with us to tip him at the end! So perhaps consider adding a line of text on the website about the option to tip guides, because we wanted him to know how much we appreciated him but didn’t think to bring cash on the adventure. (Sorry, Jeff! You rocked!)
Our tour guide was awesome!
Loved our tour guide! He is one of a kind and really made my experience great.
Jeff the tour guide was fun and very knowledgeable!
Awesome guide. Took plenty of time to talk and was extremely sociable and approachable with questions
We had an amazing time on our sunset bat tour. We were not very experienced on a kayak and we had a bit of a rocky start when my friend was worried about getting on the kayak. But Jeff was calm and reassuring which helped make her comfortable enough to try again. Once we were on, we were ready to head out. Jeff was very informative about the history of the bats, the bridge, and Austin. Watching the bats fly was magical and doing it on the water was surreal. I was unsure about kayaking at night, but found it peaceful and easier than I expected once my eyes adjusted. I would definitely do another bat tour and would love to try the downtown Austin tour as well. We had a wonderful experience and look forward to coming back to Congress Avenue Kayak the next time in Austin.
The guide was great me and my wife had alot of fun
Staff was friendly and knowledgeable
Great tour, wonderful guide. Highly recommend.
Great guide. I've seen the bats from yhe ground and from the bridge. It was best from the water!
Our rentals were ready and waiting. Check out was quick and easy. Our guide was awesome and very informative. Our overall experience as a group was amazing!
Jim, our guide, was very knowledgeable and friendly. He bent over backwards to make our excursion one to remember. I loved this unique way to enjoy nature
Great view of the bats, but we didn't do a ton of kayaking. Just sort of milled around the bridge for 2 hours. 5/5 tour guides.
Ben was amazing, definitely made our weekend even better.
This was our first kayaking experience as a family, and it was very smooth and easy, except for the parking experience. It was the right amount of time, and we were glad to have plenty of time to paddle out and come back before the bats began their voyage. Our guide, Sebastian, gave us good pointers for avoiding larger boats and pointed out the best spot to park and watch the bats leave the bridge. We are eager to return for hourly kayaking sometime soon.
The staff were very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Half of our group had never been kayaking including myself. My grown kids and I had a blast. We will definitely do this again!!
Very efficient check orgathe trip. Kunu was very knowable on the local downtown history and those wosr and versedmon many topics. Always professioal and engagIn will go tg ister.
My family and I signed up for the Friday evening bat tour. I had called earlier in the day to ask if we needed to bring anything extra and if we should be a little early. I was told to bring water, which was helpful, and also to arrive 10 - 15 minutes before our tour time of 6:30 pm. We did arrive early but our guide did not arrive until about 6:35/6:40. When he did arrive, he told us that we would get on the water about 7:00 in case more people showed up for the tour (?). Besides that and not introducing himself, we actually had a very nice time. Our guide was enthusiastic and genuinely seemed passionate about the bats and the city of Austin. He was very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this tour to others but feel like the timeliness is in need of improvement.
We had a great time!
our guide was awesome.

Ben was a fantastic tour guide and we had a blast with the group! Thanks!
Great sights, really courteous and responsive staff, very knowledgeable and patient tour guide. We loved it and might come back again for another rental sometime.
Unique tour that offered a great view of not only the bats but also downtown Austin. Raymond, the guide, was interesting and patiently answered all of my kids' questions.
Bruno made it super easy and had a ton of facts to share. This was definitely the best way to see the bats.
Really enjoyed the trip, knowledgeable guide, good price
Bruno did a great job with the briefing and the tour. He is a friendly, engaging guide. Celeste did a wonderful job of getting us in the kayaks and launched.
