It was very fun everyone was super nice. Our guide Jack was so nice and was very informative
. He gave a great tour was made sure we were there in time for the bats.
It was fun, relaxing and the bats were great! Over all a wonderful experience.
Every single person, from the woman checking us in, to the wonderful tour guides, to the nice dudes docking our kayaks, was amazingly kind, knowledgeable and obviously in love with their job. As for the kayaking and bat experience, it was amazing! If you’re debating between doing the kayak sunset bat tour and any other tour or simply going on your own to a viewing location - choose the kayaks! The people on the barges and bridges looked hot and crammed, while we had the freedom to paddle about the water freely, dip our feet in to keep cool, and even head back early if we chose (you shouldn’t!)
The tour was just the right pace and the guide was very knowledgeable. It was good for both adults and kids. Great experience!
The price is reasonable, the tour guide was great, the whole experience was excellent.
Location was clean and nice. Equipment the same. Journey (our guide) was pleasant and fun.
Everything was great from the check in process to the mini training, the guide, the equipment, the bats, everything! Highly recommend!
Our guide was great, check-in was easy, and we had a good time.
The kayak tour was good however our guide was difficult to hear, often was talking away from the group or did not wait for the entire group to be there for his talk and information.
We had fun, but wish it was longer. We pretty much only were able to kayak for 1 hour. Great experience though!
Great trip down the river. Guide (Jack) was very informative and very knowledgeable. Loved the time with my son
Had so much fun! Staff was patient and very informative.
Well organized and great tour guide. The bats disappointed us a bit as they were shy, but the paddle was nice and equipment nice as well.
Our guide was very good - Jimmy. The issue was more that we were bummed we couldn’t get solo kayaks for the bat show, and that the bats did not come out so much. After the tour, we were told by several people in town that they really only come out en masse in late August through October. So it felt a little like a bait n switch.
Great river/lake. Nice night. Enjoyed it mostly. Don’t regret it, but we thought you should know. Maybe tell people up front the likelihood is limited in spring and mid- summer.
Our guide was very friendly and knowledgeable!
The guide was amazing! I had a wonderful time and will recommended you to all my kayaking friends
BEST EXPERIENCE IN MY LIFE!
Jimmy was great! We came earlier in the day and saw the bat tour display and he told us he was guiding the tour that evening and he was phenomenal! We drove in from Dallas for a mini vacation and were very pleased with his knowledge of the town and his humor! We can’t wait to come back for another one!
Graet Prices! Great Service! and of course the whole experience was amazing with a great tour lady!!
Journey was an excellent tour guide! We were lucky and had a great bat showing.
The experience was great- the guide was great and informative- I even went back the next day for paddle boarding.
I have to say that even though the bats didn't come out before dark, it was a very enjoyable experience. I would recommend this tour.
We loved our tour on the kayaks. Guy was a very good tour guide and managed to keep the lot of us together despite the rest of the traffic on the water and the growing darkness (we went for the bat tour). Sadly, the bats did not decide to fly in great numbers that night, but the Austin skyline lit up at night was beautiful to see.
Journey was an awesome tour guide!
The tour was a great learning experience and our tour guide guy was very professional and knowledgeable.
Knowledgeable and friendly guide. Gear in great shape.
Guide was wonderful and very informative.
Our guide, Guy was very knowledgable about the city and surrounding areas and super nice! Would recommend to everybody :)
The staff was friendly and knowledgeable.
My daughter, 2 grandsons and I really enjoyed all the interesting info the guide told us. And although the bats didn't "swarm" as we saw on youtube, we had a blast. And at 70 and never in a kayak before, I did just fine.
