I'm a member and we try to do this every year. Tour and info guide s we got were first rate.
The pontoon boat was much nicer than we expected and so comfortable. The captain and his volunteer were so knowledgeable and obviously love the lake. It was a great experience. One of NH's best kept secrets.
Our skipper, Andy, was both professional and informative. We thoroughly enjoyed the trip and will sure bring friends out next year to do the same. Thanks!
The entire experience was excellent from the person that spoke about different aspects of the Lake and the driver of the boat. We learned some of the history of the lake that we did not know. Overall it was a very relaxing tour. A sunset cruise in the future would be a great idea. Thanks again for a fun time!
Really nice guides and they were very knowledgeable! THANK YOU Les and Elaine!
The whole experience of being on this special lake. Birds and wildlife, scenery, Andy and Jan, and the flexibility that we were offered with creating our own tour. Thanks again!
We had wonderful guides who knew a lot about the lake, the area in general, and conservation efforts. It was a joy to have a tour with Les and Elaine.
Very informative trip with knowledgeable staff. Relaxing and easygoing.
What a perfect day!
Les and Elaine provided a wonderful tour of the Lake with many interesting stories about both the history of the Lake and present day issues. We brought the whole family - ages 4 - 82 and everyone had a good time!
Les and Elaine Mills we're wonderful and welcoming hosts/tour guides!
I grew up on Newfound, and, with my husband, have been a member of the NLRA for many years. We had guests here from Richmond, VA, this week who had never been to NH before, so we decided to treat them to the EcoTour. They were already amazed at the beauty of our Lake, and said that the EcoTour gave them a feeling of "being connected" because they learned so much. I learn something new on every EcoTour, too!
The tour was educational, informative and entertaining. Captain Andy and Jan were exceptional. We loved it and will recommend it to others!
Bob the guide was great very knowable, personable, pleasant. The captain was fantastic a safe and curtiious fella. One of our more enjoyable tours and rides on the lake. I will highly recamend this tour to all I tell about it.

We brought three of our grandchildren (6, 7, 11 years old). They all were fascinated with the experiments performed by Captain Bob. He included the children and was very good with them. We were very fascinated with the history of Newfound Lake. We saw an eagle and loon. We are all impressed with the size of the tadpoles. Fun was had by all and we would go again. Thank you Bob and Hans.
I chose this rating because Bob our guide was very knowledgeable and made this interesting and fun for out 9 year old grandchild. We own property on the lake and have been coming to Newfound for 30 years and did not know some of the things he told us about. I will recommend this tour to family and friends.
My siblings and I found the tour to be most pleasant in every way. The boat was comfortable; the driver, Hans, was pleasant and competent; the tour guide, Bob, was very knowledgeable, pleasant and interesting; the length of the tour was just right; and the cost was very appropriate. Thank you!
The only negative issue was that it was difficult to hear the what the boat driver was saying over the background noise of the motor and wind. Overall we very much enjoyed the tour! Will do it again!
