What You Will Do
- Paddle peacefully down the flowing current of the St. Vrain River as you journey through a surprise pocket of wilderness amidst the ranches of Weld County.
- Spot an incredible abundance of wildlife, including bald eagles, red tailed hawks, songbirds, American minks, great horned owls, snapping turtles and more.
- Take in stunning views of the breathtaking natural landscapes as the river weaves through farmland, ranches and cottonwood groves.

No canoeing experience is necessary. Please bring non-cotton clothes, shoes that can get wet, an extra layer for warmth in case the weather changes, raincoat, sunscreen, bug spray, a hat, snacks and a lunch, a water bottle and a camera.
