• Guatavita - The tour begins at 7 am after picking up all guests from their homes. The journey takes us via the Calera, offering a panoramic view of northern Bogota from the viewpoint. We will admire the stunning landscapes of the Sabana de la Capital before reaching our first destination: The Colonial Town of Guatavita at 8:30 am. We will spend 45 minutes there, walking and appreciating the majestic white houses with clay roofs and stone floors. Every corner of this charming place is perfect for capturing spectacular photos.

Después de haber recogido a todos los participantes, el tour inicia a las 7 am, iremos vía la Calera para apreciar una panorámica del norte de Bogotá, contemplaremos los bellos paisajes de la Sabana, arribaremos a nuestro primer destino: El Pueblo Colonial de Guatavita a las 8:30 am donde estaremos por 45 minutos; caminaremos y apreciaremos las imponentes casas blancas, con techos en arcilla y piso en piedra.

• Laguna de Guatavita - To reach our second destination, we will take our vehicle and after a 35-minute drive, we will arrive at the entrance of La Laguna de Guatavita. This is a guided tour in a natural reserve, where a Spanish-speaking guide will lead a two-hour walk, explaining the ancient rituals of the Muisca culture and guiding you to admire the impressive Laguna de Guatavita, located atop a mountain nearly 3000 meters high. If any group members require English translation, they can pay our bilingual driver at the entrance, who will translate the tour for them.

Luego de 35 minutos de recorrido llegaremos a la entrada de La Laguna de Guatavita, es una visita guiada en una reserva natural, un guía del lugar de habla hispana los llevará por una caminata de dos horas, les explicará los antiguos rituales de la cultura Muisca y los llevará a contemplar la Impresionante Laguna de Guatavita ubicada en la cima de una montaña a casi 3000 metros de altura.

• Tocancipa - Our third destination is the Sabana de Bogotá, which is not a specific site but rather a collection of all the landscapes you will have the opportunity to see throughout the journey from when you leave Bogotá until you return to your hotel. This area encompasses many towns in the region, where you will see valleys, various types of trees, animals, local vegetation, flowers of different colors and shapes, lagoons, and more.

Nuestro tercer destino es la Sabana de Bogotá, la cual no es un sitio específico, por el contrario, es la combinación de todos los paisajes que tendrás la oportunidad de ver en todo el recorrido desde que sales de Bogotá hasta que regresas de nuevo a tu hotel. Es un área que reúne muchos pueblos de la región, verás valles, diferentes tipos de árboles, animales, vegetación local, flores de distintos colores y formas, lagunas entre otros.

• Zipaquira - After traveling for over an hour through the Bogotá savanna, we finally arrive at our fourth stop: the town of Zipaquira, where we enjoy a delicious lunch at a local restaurant serving typical Colombian cuisine.

Luego de viajar por más de una hora por la Sabana de Bogotá finalmente hemos llegado a nuestra cuarta parada: El pueblo de Zipaquira, allí degustaremos un delicioso almuerzo en un restaurante local con comida típica Colombiana.

• Catedral de Sal de Zipaquira - Last but not least, we will arrive at our fifth stop, The Zipaquira Salt Mine, known as the First Wonder of Colombia. This is one of the most important tourist destinations, a former salt mine converted into a cathedral. You will descend to the cathedral’s depths and reach the great central dome, where you can see the largest underground cross, the grand hall for cathedral ceremonies, and a lovely boulevard. Additionally, you might experience other attractions such as the Cathedral Light Show, a movie about the mine, and the water mirror, among others. You will spend around 2 hours inside on your own. Afterward, we will drive back to Bogotá, taking over an hour, and drop you off at your hotel.

Por último llegaremos a la 5th parada: La Mina de Sal de Zipaquirá, la Primera Maravilla de Colombia. Es uno de los destinos turísticos más importantes, es una antigua mina de sal que ha sido convertida en catedral. 2 horas dentro y regresamos a Bogotá.
