jay was excellent! got to... - jay was excellent! got to try multiple local foods. I particularly loved the durian desserts and egg buns!

Great experience, highly recommended - We had a fantastic evening with Cecilia taking us on a foodie tour of Guangzhou. She was extremely attentive and considerate in choosing dishes for us (one vegetarian). It was fascinating to learn about the culture surrounding Cantonese food as well as being a great insight into real life in China. We had a great meal at a dim sum restaurant then visited 4-5 more food places to sample local delicacies. Highly recommended!!!!

Great time, very special experience. - I had a great experience. I learned a lot about Chinese culture and I got a chance to eat a lot of great food. There was also a large varsity of food that I ate and enjoyed as well.

Modern Guangzhou Through Local Voices - Lucky to join a Guangzhou food tour hosted by two informative and entertaining guides. Kris, a born-and-bred Guangzhou local, and Lin, originally from Beijing, made a great team. The experience was a generous mix of local dishes and drinks—more than enough to satisfy—and we even headed home with a food pack. Along the way, our hosts shared stories of local history, woven together with insights into everyday social life in contemporary China. Warm, engaging, and well paced, the tour offered both flavour and context, making it an easy highlight of our stay in Guangzhou.

Warm and cozy evening eating local food with locals - fun, interesting and delicious! - Trying food while walking around with locals is pretty fun and interesting. Our guides were very nice , talkative and helpful. They took all the time to show us around. We did try some food and places you will never ever dare yourself to try. The best part is that we had also chance to fully enjoy Chinese eating culture, because our guides also ate with us. It made it more cosy and like eating with friends. Also saves lots of food from waste, since all portions are huge. Thanks a lot for this tour! We highly advice it!

Great night out! - Jay and Leslie took us on an amazing tour which lead us to many different places we would have never discovered ourselves. As the tour progressed, the choices became more and more dependent on our likings and curiosity. It was joyful to discover the incredibly rich and diverse Chinese kitchen together with our guides, who taught us much about traditional food, Chinese culture and lots more. Highly recommended!

This is a great experience—you won’t regret it! - Jay 廖建 and Leslie 梁璐银 were so fun and nice! They brought us to lots of restaurants, and we finished with our bellies full and having enjoyed delicious dishes we were discovering for the first time. They selected restaurants they themselves enjoy and chose each restaurant’s highlight dish, telling personal stories or giving cultural information about the foods. They really know their way around. It was a pleasure spending the evening with them! My daughter and I highly recommend this tour with Jay and Leslie!

Unprofessional Operator - Honestly, I have nothing nice to say. I booked the same day as I am here for business, and was excited to do something new. On the way to the meeting point Yuki changed the location and the taxi driver dropped me off close but not at the new meeting point. Yuki belittled my tone and frustration - I had no idea where I was. The conclusion is that I wasted 45min each way in a taxi and $185US for a tour that did not happen. Thankfully, I paid with PayPal and will be making a claim. Yes, the reviews are fabulous, but sadly for me is was a very very poor experience from what sounds like an experienced operator.
