Top-Notch Costa Rica Tour: Waterfalls, Wildlife & Wonderful Guides! - This tour was an absolute highlight of my time in Costa Rica! From start to finish, the experience was seamless, thanks to the incredible organization and expertise of our driver, Diego, and our guide, Kevin. Both were exceptionally knowledgeable, sharing fascinating insights about the local flora, fauna, and culture throughout the day. Their friendly and approachable demeanor made the entire group feel comfortable and engaged. The celestial beauty of La Celeste waterfall truly lives up to its name – the vibrant turquoise waters were breathtaking. Having the opportunity to witness such a natural wonder was an unforgettable experience. Following that, the fantastic local lunch provided was a delicious taste of authentic Costa Rican cuisine. It was a perfect way to refuel and appreciate the local flavors. However, the true gem of the tour was the sloth sanctuary. Getting up close (at a respectful distance, of course!) to these gentle creatures was a dream come true. Kevin's deep understanding of sloth behavior and conservation efforts made the visit both educational and heartwarming. It was evident how much the sanctuary cares for these animals. I wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Costa Rica. Diego's safe and efficient driving and Kevin's engaging guidance created a truly memorable and enriching day. Don't miss out on this fantastic combination of natural beauty, delicious food, and incredible wildlife encounters!

Waterfall swimming, hiking, nature guide for sloth and animal findings. Great Costa Rican lunch even if you’re celiac. - Diego was a great guide and Fran was a great driver. Experience was 10/10. Thankful for the experience. We visited the waterfall for swimming, the sloth sanctuary with a personal nature guide for spotting animals, then we traveled for a Costa Rican lunch and the la Leona waterfall. It was great having someone share Costa Rican information to get us more in tune with the culture.

This tour was very... - This tour was very organized and the guides were friendly and knowledgable. The pickup/drop off was seamless - they even arrived early! We appreciated that we had plenty of time to enjoy the waterfall, rainforest, and sloth sanctuary. The rainforest walk is fairly easy, however there is a lot of stairs (up and down) to go to the waterfall. It's not bad, but could be strenuous for some. My only note is that we felt that the group was too large as you ended up waiting to take turns to look at the sloths through the scopes.

Absolutely epic. Our... - Absolutely epic. Our guide Kevin Pina was informative and energetic. Frank was a fantastic driver who handled the roads with care. The views were spectacular, the food was amazing, and we got to see so much wildlife including 3 sloths, owls, and more. We'll worth waking up early on vacation. Highly recommend!

Nice three-part adventure in Costa Rica - The trip was very good and the guide was quite knowledgeable. Unfortunately, with the size of the bus and the road noise from the bumpy route, he needed to have a microphone/speaker system to be heard adequately. This is a small thing that would have made a huge difference.

AVOID THE SCAM AND DONT BUY FROM VIATOR OR TRIP ADVISOR. - DO NOT BUY TICKETS ON VIATOR OR HERE. Please read: the place is absolutely beautiful. Rio Celeste is an interesting and lovely hiking experience if you have the ability to climb stairs. That’s not the issue BUT the entrance fee is only $14 when you purchase online at the National Parks’s website or from the ranger station at the entrance of the park. VIATOR’s vendors charge $34 a person and you don’t even get your ticket in time. You have to call or text a sketchy WhatsApp number and then they buy the tickets from the website and send you the code. TOTAL SCAM. I loved that we pay to help maintain and conserve this beautiful place but the scams run deep and no one needs to pay $20 extra to someone doing literally NOTHING. When I didn’t receive my tickets on time and told them I’d leave a review they refunded the money therefore taking the ability to leave a review on VIATOR. Other scams: they sell access to the Rio Celeste for $8: access is free to anyone. Because internet was slow at the park I paid a local a total of $18 ($4 extra per ticket) for his assistance. Still, not the $34 a person they want to charge.

Great waterfall experience. - A lovely day with a well organized company. The bus was clean and our guide was knowledgeable. The waterfalls were beautiful as was the rainforest hike. The lunch was well made and served in a lovely open air restaurant. The drive was a bit long, especially on the way back (3hrs).
